Naj and Mech PROVE flying is completely broken in WoW

Of course not but the stock holders do and they matter most not you.

We’ve had Pathfinder for 4+ years neither crying players or stock holders have change that. Blizzard has said more than once they’re happy with how Pathfinder works. It’s really time for people to accept that Pathfinder is here to stay.

That’s a toss up…

/flips coin

No one should fly because some people are grounded and not willing to put in the work to get pathfinder at the pace others did.

Oh yeah. That makes sense.

I’ll take “usual entitled opinion that’s killing the game for $1000 Alex.”

Oh look. Daily double.

This game had flying fully enabled when there was 12 million playing . It may ruin it for you but for most is the way game should Be played .

You got it backwards. The game is broken without flying. When I unlocked it, I found myself doing the old world quest emissaries again. It was like a huge burden was lifted off my shoulders.

So, turn Warmode off?

You do whatever you want for you. Keep your PvP nonsense out of my flying.

This. I finally went back and finished my Archaeology stuff, and jumped back into Pet Battling and collecting again. Quit breaking the game to force others into a rigid playstyle. Folks want to be able to explore and move around the world; we did the content and jumped through the hoops.

Stock holders will eventually get sick of the player base shrinking and look into it. They will replace the CEO until one shows up to fix the problem which is DEVs refusing to listen to the players over things like pathfinder. Its been bad for business and you have already said you dont care about blizzards revenue.

Even if you are pro flight, you can’t deny the fact that flying $#@# players on the ground in wm.

I am still grounded in BFA. I see flyers everywhere and they don’t hinder me in the slightest.

People should just play how they want to and stop worrying about everyone else.

Stock holders should have absolutely NO say in game design decisions. Also players do not get to dedicate design choices. But I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

While that should be true, these days too many game design decisions (more than just Blizzard is guilty of this) are made with fast profit, minimum effort being the end goal and not a desire to make the game better.

And we’re the ones who suffer because of it.

It was the same thing in Tanaan and Broken Shore. Once a critical mass of players earn flying, it becomes slower for everyone after.

The best solution is just to allow flying all the time for gold, or a non-time-gated pathfinder.

You sure do enjoy arguing a losing point. Stock holders OWN The game, the building its made in, the equipment, the offices and everything else. They most certainly do have a say in it and when they get the right CEO to run it and fire the bad game designers then WOW will be great again.

Except they’re not going to replace bad devs so long as they’re making a hefty profit. They’re out of touch with what keeps games thriving.

They’re only able to see the profit margin, and in fact push Blizzard to make changes, whether good or not, to increase the profit margin.

I could say the same thing to you. Stock holders own the company that doesn’t mean they control design choices.

OP, let’s analyze things here.

It seems to me that Flying ruins the game for, I believe, two reasons here.

  1. It trivializes content.
  2. It gives players with flying an advantage over those without it.

Let’s analyze those then, shall we?

Trivializing content. Well, if the content was designed in a way where flight wouldn’t trivialize it, I don’t think this would be an issue. Zones designed like Naz’jatar will naturally be trivialized by Flight. Zones like Mechagon, much less so.

As for giving players an advantage, all I can say there is, if everyone had flight around the same time, such as, say, by purchasing it for 5,000 gold at level cap, I don’t think this would be an issue. Instead of Flight being time-gated, everyone could get it as soon as they finished leveling, rather than weeks of grinding reps.
