Naguura giving up now …

The problem with no WoW 2.0 (WhY tHoUgH, wE’vE gOt wOw 9.0!) is that. Every expansion is IT’S OWN SEQUEL THEN. So, we don’t even have a WoW, or a WoW 1-4 or something…

What we have is the currently disposable cartridge.

Would you care to elaborate?

Sure. Post on your main and I’ll give examples of what you can do that you’re not doing.

They will all play WoW again if 9.2 ever comes out.

Alright, though I can’t imagine it will do you much good to advise me on what content I could be doing when I uninstalled retail months ago.

Dailies? The same 8 dungeons? A raid with patch-specific gear?

F2P gameplay, B2P content, F2P content.

WoW doesn’t need streamers (they aren’t content creators) WoW does need rewarding content and “fun” content.

Mount farming.

What’s that, you have a mount that already gets you from point A to point B? Well, too bad, get to farming!

Of course, there is a serious lack of content. I know you are a WoW cheerleader but seriously what is going on in that fox brain?

50-60+ being shadowlands, and 1-50 being get to shadowlands is not playing to WoW’s strengths, more like playing to it’s weaknesses.

So, do you need their approval to play the game?

Yes.

I sent her a message asking but she hasn’t gotten back to me yet.

Oh wait, Naguura, I think I saw a video of her’s where she broke down Torghast pretty well

Well, you can tell a lot about a person from their achievements. Here’s what I gather from yours:

  1. You’re not interested in raiding, although you did get AOTC for end-of-expansion mounts, presumably as part of a “friendship bird” or such.
  2. You used to do some M+ but stopped at the lower end of the scale. You also look to have bought a carry for the Challenge Mode appearances in WoD, since all of your bronze/silver/gold for all the dungeons were all on the exact same day.
  3. You did the war mode zerg achievements in BfA but have no arena since 2008 and battleground stuff is minimal.

So there’s a great deal you could do, starting with progging the current raids, aim for AOTC in a non-end-of-expac raid, maybe move on to Mythic, shoot for Keystone Master or higher, do some rated PvP if you feel like it. Those are the three pillars of the game, always have been. If you’ve been around for over a decade and don’t want to do that, then WoW’s not the game for you.

If you’re staying subbed for classic, that’s truly bizarre because there’s even less to do in classic. Weird.

The point of raiding is for the challenge. Not the gear.

If your goal in gaming is just to get the best gear you can, just as an end goal in itself, but never to do anything with it… maybe switch to phone games?

“Do you guys not have phones?”

I agree, delete gear from the raids.

Raids are great content and offer great script. Maybe the best way to do a raid tier when you’re combining it with a 2 year long dungeon grind is to just make “patch specific” gear, but that is kind of boring, itself. If I were to just do a month of WoW after patches, admittedly, that’s how I’d want it to be.

What on earth are you even babbling about? People will still be using their Sanctum gear in the next raid, unless and until something better comes along. That’s how gear has always worked in this game.

Shards of Domination are literally being rotated out. You know the whole “Gotchya” game you’ve been playing with has been like, just for now, right? Their temporary status as a gameplay effect has been alluded to in their non-all-inclusive status.

And then dungeon #1-8 again, please. This time, better.
