TOOLZ was my first raiding guild; we raided from Wrath all the way through Mists of Pandaria, where much of our older members began to move on. Through the expansions, our guild became dormant.
Who am I? A teenager grown into an adult who’s come to miss the sense of community added to the game when you’re in a guild you’ve helped cultivate. I’m a 25 year old who works at a warehouse and I love nothing more than to come home after a long day to family who loves seeing me walk through the door, or to login to a guild who all say “Hello!” when you get online.
What are our goals? I want to create a flourishing social experience for players of all skill levels, largely casual. This means content ranging from campaign questing to casual dungeons or grinding out mounts and pets together. Though, as the guild expands, I certainly have a personal wish to lead a Heroic raid team and in the far future a Mythic raid team; Mythic dungeons are of course included in this agenda. My biggest dream for our guild is a thriving neighborhood with player housing right on the horizon.
All guild positions available
- Socialites of all kinds are welcome. If you want a place to hang out and chat, I’m looking to create that. Active guild chats are an important part of a flourishing guild and varied ages can cultivate great social environments when us young folk aren’t too mouthy. TOOLZ’ guild chat is aimed to be family friend to mild at max, to accomodate most if not all ages of players. Socialites are also more than welcome to advertise and form groups for dungeons and other content within the guild!
- Guild Guides are needed. These are players with capability far beyond knowing how to deal good damage. These are people with patience, understanding and compassion for the player experience. Guild Guides should be capable of things like helping players make settings changes to addons like WeakAuras, Plater or Hekili, as well as be experienced overall in how to play the game at varying levels of difficulty. Walking players through confusing introductory questlines for certain expansions (with Chromie Time and all) is also a big aid to new player experiences.
- Recruitment Officers are necessary very early in the creation of a guild to help soothe the process of creating a self-sustaining recruitment model. I am only available for so much time during the week; advertising for a guild and maintaining my own playtime can be tiresome. In the most flat manner I can say; I need help. Players wishing to join the guild in its early creation are partially expected to help recruit additional members, regardless of guild status. However, I am also looking specifically for members willing to take up recruitment in a more serious manner, such as recruiting in-game within General chat or even at the end of dungeons and raids.
