I’ll say for sure that Varian at the end of siege gave me an idea for the Dawn moving into 8.1! And let me tell you, the stories we have planned for Tides of Vengeance will match any tale of the past.
In related news, as a whole the officer corps has started frantically planning for 8.1, and boy do I like what we have on the table. The Dawn is now on the lookout for an RP/PVP partner for a battle in the jungles of Zuldazar- more details on that later! I may make a seperate post for it.
Tommorow, we're gonna hit Zul and we're gonna hit him hard. Then I'm gonna wear his hat like a trophy.
Plans for 8.1 are underway! They're nearly completely written down and ready to enact- will Dazar'alor be able to stand up against the Light's judgement?
We've also set everything up to sit back, kick back, and watch and enjoy Blizzcon together as a guild! Hope you can join up and enjoy the next week with us, because it's going to be a good one!
Also excited for the 8.2 stuff! Running Mechagon will give me fond memories of the past.
And who here loves Warcraft 3? The Dawn will be running WC3 nights every night we can!
Join, we have beer.
Holy. Beer. Think about it.
Oh lord, Forum update. Good thing this didn’t get lost!
Meh. You’re okay I guess.
Are you sure I’m really here to help defeat the Horde, though? Nyehehe >:]
(legit tho this place is gucci)

They still haven’t noticed I haven’t been wearing my tabard.
My level of camouflage has reached Big Boss levels.
Probably the best guild I have had the pleasure of being in. Well structured, and well run. Makes me feel very welcomed and pushes you to be better at everything you try. The people are just amazing. Come join!
Ya’ll are the best! The Dawn shines bright today!
I’ll admit I’m one of those people that have a hard time finding a guild that works for me. Most PvE guilds I’ve been inon this server have either taken themselves way too seriously, or aren’t really progressing much. RP guilds in general for me have been hit or miss, and usually the latter.
This place though has been really good to me. The GM is down to earth, the members are very welcoming, and IC and OOC is handled separately and cleanly. In my experience that’s something not to be taken for granted. I’ve had a phenomenal experience in this guild–one of the best I’ve ever joined, if not the best. Strongly recommend.
Promotion Ceremony in a week!
The arrival of three new Highguard. Welcome Sint Dagon, Anegorn Faroak, and Enno Ebonfang to the most esteemed ranks. The Dawn, now emboldened by these three’s new leadership, will continue onward with great power. So many others got justice this day, as well, as we all walked in the sanctuary of Uther’s Tomb.
The Dawn rises.
And we just downed the Slug! The Dawn now has Uldir on lockdown and is ready for Dazar’alor.
I’m coming for you, Troll.
Holiday breaks, man. They wear me out. The fight for Zuldazar is right around the corner, though, and the Dawn sure as hell will be there. The Blood War heats up!
Good morning! It’s been a long while since I’ve posted on the forums- the new layout is killing me, and I just can’t seem to consistently update! But I woke up this morning feeling bright and full of energy, so it’s time! I know for me, at least, spring is coming out early, the sun is bright and shining, and the grass is turning green again- which means it’s time to grow, expand, write, and get things accomplished!
First off, our current IC situation. The Horde is on the backpedal- after the near flawless victories in Dazar’alor and Naz’mir, both the Zandalar Empire and the Horde as a whole is nearly crumbling from pressure placed on all sides. Specialist forces are set out to clean up what remains in the two warfronts, Arathi and Darkshore, but curious orders come from high command- the Alliance is disavowing it’s advantage, and giving the Horde time to recuperate. Though the Highlord fumes at this brazen extension of the war, it means that the Alliance has time to recuperate as well- where the bulk of the Dawn shall now be deployed to Stormwind, eagerly looking for new recruits! We will be set up in the great city until 8.2 drops or a campaign happens that takes us elsewhere! For anyone looking to join the guild, now is the time to sign on! You will tend to see us set up in the Cathedral square!
Second, our PVE situation. We are knocking out Battle of Dazar’alor at a record pace, with our only obstacle being the limited amount of time that we have to raid with on monday. We’re already on the fifth boss, who we could have easily gotten down were it not late last week- and we’ll get them down faster this monday without the need to learn Opulence or Conclave, and the increased damage going out on every boss. I don’t foresee us hittting a roadblock until at least Mekkatorque, and by then I’ll begin extending our lockouts to make sure we have Normal Jaina down. If you’re looking for a guild that hammers out PVE at a measured pace and has fun while doing it, we’re the guild for you!
Third, our PVP situation.
I am excited to announce that due to a heatup in PVP all around the guild(Including a few 2k’s from longtime members!) That the Dawn is specifically opening it’s doors to anyone interested in RBGs! We do them at 4 server every wednesday- talk to me on Discord or send me ingame mail to get things started. I want to make sure you’re vetted properly before you’re in the guild!
I am also beginning to consider closing recruitment until 8.2 after we hit a certain benchmark. Our growth during this period has been headache inducingly rapid, so I want to make sure that everything is consolidated and everyone is a part of the guild before I open recruitment back up. That announcement will come later.
Promotions are set for March, and our 4th Anniversary! is in April, in Hearthglen once again!
For the Dawn, everyone!
issa good guild. YOS seal of approval
