These words were the start of a new mission, a call to action to protect Azeroth by whatever means necessary. Any who would heed them would be brothers and sisters in arms, to see Azeroth through dark days until the dawn would rise again…
Who We Are
The Hand of Dawn is a new, faction-neutral RP guild based on Moon Guard, based out of Alliance-side. ICly, we are an off-shoot of the Argent Crusade, but have declared independence from our parent faction since our IC beginnings during the Burning Legion’s final invasion of Azeroth. We can be considered a generally good-aligned guild, including chaotic, neutral, and lawful themes.
We are protectors; a faction willing to go to whatever lengths necessary to safeguard Azeroth and its people. No soul willing to stand up and fight is turned down; from the most devout of the Light to those who take solace in the shadow of the void, no matter whether they be from the Alliance or the Horde. All who desire justice and wish to see the world defended are welcome in the Hand’s ranks.
What We Offer
- Our own d20-based roll system, built from the ground up, with abilities, classes, and sub-classes.
- Adventure-style RP through our two Orders, the militaristic Arbiters and the magically-inclined Mystics.
- RP-PvP sparring events, done via our roll system.
- A mentorship system that focuses on each new member’s journey through the Hand.
- Social RP events for all of our members to get to know each other ICly.
Requirements to Join
- Must be 18+ both IC and OOC. We do not allow minors in the guild, and do not allow child characters.
- New members will need to submit an application through our website.
- General lore abidance. We will allow slight stretches of the imagination but nothing outright lore-breaking.
- Good behavior. We do not tolerate drama or toxicity.
- A willingness to learn and improve. We do not expect all of our members to be well-versed in the lore, nor do we expect everyone to be experts at roleplaying. We accept new roleplayers, and those new to roleplaying in WoW, as long as they are willing to learn the lore over time and get settled into roleplaying.
