N-RP Peace Summit (July) Update Important

Oh, that makes sense: so this is kind of a round table discussion? Thats even better!

Utgarde Keep is NOT being used ICly

out of curiosity, where is this meant to be occurring ICly?

Truth be told, we actually havent 100% decided. So for now, just pretend this is a neutral meeting space in Hillsbrad for now! I’ll be sure update during the meeting.
The place was too good to pass up, the proxy area couldnt of been fully decided by the time it was chosen!

“Somewhere in Hillsbrad” works for me! Nice and accessible!

My character is really looking forward to this, this’ll be her first time actually talking peaceably to several horde races! (She’s hired a bodyguard just in case, though!)

I never figured out how to come as an attendant but it seems by random fate I am now a bodyguard.

Soon…!
This is a complete sentence!!!

Hey!

Fantastic event! Loved the IC feedback and responses and discussion! Absolutely great conversation!

Since Lyastei supports the idea of some kind of “icon”, I put this together real fast!

I’m no graphic designer, but the idea is to use the “parallel” symbol: running along the same lines, the same path. Obviously “blue” is Alliance and “red” is Horde.

Some are super imposed upon a representation of Azeroth. The most obvious “Azeroth” symbol is a globe, since it’s a world. However… Eh… Doesn’t look so cool, so I have the background third bar as well.

The black is supposed to represent “nothingness”, in that there’s a bond, but the territorial claims don’t matter. The white is supposed to represent “purity”, as in “Azeroth is pure, keep it that way”.

The middle options have no globe symbol, representing that nothing is keeping the Alliance and the Horde apart aside from their own prejudice. Prejudice being nothing is represented by the left option, which has no barricade between them. The goal of nothing being between them is represented by the right option, which has them touching.

Personal preference is middle left. It looks cool and represents that there isn’t “anything” between the Horde and the Alliance, but we still have gaps to fill. It’s a good message for this theme, I think.

I spent 5 minutes making these, so edit them or discard them. It doesn’t befront me! Just thought I’d OOCly put them out there (gotta stick up for my character, who supports another character’s idea!)

Thanks again for a fun event, and I look forward to more!

Great event although it seems to have had the opposite effect on me - I just want to make another villain character now!

Thank you for coming out, and it was so nice to see you!

It was great to have you and the Mendwalker Clan, Hotoh, I only hope to make these summits better and better!

Have fun!

Thats an interesting idea! Hotoh, if we arrange it with you ahead of time do you think we could have a villain character try to sabotage one of the future meetings, and have their plans foiled by the end of the event?

Just figured I would chime in with one of the rules of the peace summit!

  • Please do not be purposefully antagonistic (maybe someday with coordination, but this event is new and I’d like to focus on its purpose)

Im not exactly comfortable with the Peace Summit being targeted with out coordination with me, and right now that’s not entirely on my sights! People who may have disagreements with peace are allowed to express, however people who arrive with the intent of bringing an army or try to purposefully disrupt with a villainous act should be discussed with me first in private.

“Antagonism” is welcomed, so long as its done with respect for the over all fantasy of the event and people are willing to accept that they will likely be silenced or removed if its kept up and is hostile. It would be no offense to them, but a consequence of the actions displayed by the character. But like I said, grand displays of villainy or long monoglues where it seems like you just want to be a center of attention is greatly discouraged!

Ha, yeah I appreciate the uhhh faith in my ability to be a fun villain but I didn’t mean specifically to target the Peace Summit.

JUST LIKE STATED IN THE ORIGINAL UPDATED POST, ILL PUT IT HERE AS WELL.

But if your not familiar with the usual Peace Summit event, please take read through anyhow to know what its all about!! It seems many people keep misunderstanding and thinking these are rallies!

:exclamation: :exclamation:UPDATE FOR THE JANURARY 1ST MEETING (TOMORROW): :exclamation: :exclamation: Due to tomorrow being News Year day , tomorrow will be more CASUAL in terms of gathering. Rather then a traditional summit of conversation on how to solve things. This will purely be the mingling aspect to get to know other neutral based people, connect and form friendships. I apologize for this change on such short notice, but that is what tomorrows peace summit will be. So again, this is not a discussion of figuring out how to be better neutral and peace driven people, but socialization with focus on it being neutral and peace related organizations.

Edit: And please, be courteous when it comes to spoilers. If its a grand reveal or ground breaking information involving the current story, please keep it to yourself.
