[N-RP Event] Shaman Summit!

When: August 14th, 2020. 5 pm Server time (subject to change)

Where: Temple of Eath, Deepholm

What:

The summit is a meeting of individuals who utilize the elements and practice any of the various teachings they have learned from the multiple cultures who practice it. The purpose is to take a step towards re-establishing and normalizing interaction between the Alliance and Horde races, as well as meeting the various new groups who practice shamanism.

One goal would be to gain at least one individual of each race to speak on their respective people’s experiences and practices with the elements. For those interested, volunteering ahead of time is requested.

Order of Events:

  • Opening Speech
  • Moment of remembrance for the fallen of the Fourth War and those who died fighting the Black Empire
  • Scheduled speakers getting their time to speak
  • Closing speech and open floor

Volunteered Speakers:

Tuukar, Tauren Speaker
Fennecfremen, Vulpera Speaker
Grimmox, Orc Speaker (unless Gotosh steps in)

I would go and speak for the Vulnicura but alas, the date does not work for me. Good luck!

Doing the Friday bump

Entirely understandable. I know the date might feel a bit funky, but I’m mostly aiming for a day guilds typically don’t put their normal events on.

I would like to speak for Orcs unless Gotosh volunteers of course. He’s more qualified.

Will definitely try my best to be there, won’t speak for anyone as I’m new to both troll and shaman roleplay, but would love to hang around other shaman.

I’ve considered volunteering to speak for the Pandaren, but at this point I don’t think I’d have anything prepared in time. Glad to see something like this is finally happening, though. I’ll probably be able to make it, provided nothing comes up prior.

Hell im not prepared yet either, but its the effort that counts. Just come on out and give it a shot!

I am going to draft something up Thursday night. ( I am the Tauren Shaman speaker from above)

Lol, I’m actually very flattered and honored I was thought of. To be fair every time I’ve checked in on the forums I’ve been wanting to sign in for the event- but when this was being talked about I wasn’t in the head space to do much, and then once this was made I wasn’t sure what I’d be doing at the time. Life gets a little crazy.
While I was popping in to see if I could have a part, I would feel bad since Grimmox got here first. Regardless, if i’m able to come I’d like to help out either way!

Do you guys need a Draenei speaker? I’ve been RPing my Draenei shaman for years and I’m DYING to meet more like minded shaman!

I do have a question… home come we aren’t having the meeting in the Heart of Azeroth… the home of the Earthen Ring and instead inside the Elemental Plane of Earth?

At the moment, I did attain a Draenei speaker through RP a couple of days ago.

That said, if irl does happen and prevents them from showing, I could easily work it in for you to speak in their place.

As for location, I opted for Earthen Shrine since I felt it would be easier and more accessible since not everyone has access to Legion stuff.

I think I’ll be able to make it tomorrow, I was able to move some things around!
So let me know if there anything I can do to help! I’d love to participate. I’ve been wanting to host a shaman gathering for awhile so this will be fun to see how another does it.

Today is the day. Still have a dew spots open for speakers such as goblin, troll and dwarf, but things will progress even so.

As for Gotosh, if you’re interested, could always have Gotosh make the closing speech.
