Zombie invasion happened in classic during the lead up to OG Naxxramis. So good luck with that, lmao.
It should be confined to 30 minutes a day or only in the gurubashi arena.
The problem is people are using it to deliberately grief others just because they can. There’s no excuse for that and the fact so many people are trying so hard to justify it kind of shows just how terrible the WoW community is.

Honestly, the line probably goes like this.
People who don’t take video game death seriously find it fun. 
People who do take video game death seriously find it annoying. 
I’m sure there’s some super rational argument about getting nothing done for a week but when i was on the PTR testing the new leveling zone i just corpse hopped my city adjacent quests to completion and after that it was mostly fine. The amount of death when you leave a hotspot is manageable.
This doesn’t feel really different than how questing on a pvp server during a faction leader raid used to.

Except choosing a PvP server is a choice. Like most sane individuals I did not choose that. Why is it forced on me?

It’s only for a week, and it really isn’t that bad. I don’t know what else to say as i fundamentally don’t relate to taking video game death this seriously.
It’s not about dying in a game.
It’s about giving another human the ability to control what happens to my character. Put the human controlled zombies in war mode and let me die 10p times.

To be honest Darnassis and the Forsaken city are the places to go during this, you have to timewalk/ rewind time to get into them and zombie can’t talk to NPC’s to switch over.
This game would be so much better off without PvP and the associated community.
