[Mythic+] What does disc even do better than shammy or paladin rofl

wow, Preheat actually posting on a toon called Preheat.

are you that guy that tried to sue that other guy named preheet for stealing your name, and it was revealed that he had the name longer then you had yours?

No I am absolutely not that person.

I love disc priests, but they are a proactive, not a reactive healer. Mine is 213 ish, ventyhr. One or two keys shy of KSM. Schism into radiance into mindgames in incredible throughput for aoe dmg, which is common in M+. If I need more throughput than that I just snap penance after mindgames and 9 times out 10 the group is damn near topped. Considering you can rapture the group on predictable bursts, it’s easy to not have to play catch up on heals. But, it does struggle when people stand in bad, because you have to spam mends on them.

I’m honestly surprised to hear you’d pick schism over twist of fate for keys o_o

So here you’re mostly sitting on mindgames and other cooldowns for AOE healing I think I understand.

What do you do when people ultimately do things that pugs for instance do often like forget interrupts/stuns and there is just wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much damage?

Level a resto shammy, then? lol I dunno.

Every time he quits, he becomes a brand new player!

Honestly, in those instances, they will just die. As they should. Unfortunately this does happen, but it happens to any healer if some body misses an important kick or stands in bad. Idc if you’re a holy paladin, r sham or r druid, at 15 +, especially fortified, if someone missed, say the Rebellious Fist cast from the golems in Spire, it’s almost certainly a wipe, no matter who’s healing. And I agree, if somebody constantly eats volcanic for example, Disc doesn’t have an emergency big heal to snap them back to full in one global. There are things in our kit to make that volcanic less lethal though. Pre shield foreseeable damage, with rapture if you must, pain suppression, and while I wouldn’t recommend doing those for a trivial mechanic like volcanic, the concept applies to predictable damage or predictable mistakes. This sort of falls into what I referred to as proactive healing. Use your kit, and your brain combined to lessen the need to emergency spam people to full. Some things you just can’t heal through however, but most of those situations, you aren’t supposed to have to heal through.

Cool name.

And you’re 100% correct. Only Monks and Holy Prs have a legit right to be barking atm.
