in Legion a block-gap made me switch from Prot to Ret. Sl ended this block-gap so I’m technically perfectly viable to tank again. But the playstyle of M+ is just not appealing to me. I like dungeons and i like challenging 5man content but the fact that there’s so much mechanization and automation to routing, breakpoints etc just kills it for me.
we’re no longer going to a dungeon to kill the bosses, we’re going down a checklist of timers, breakpoints and intervals. M+ is so artificial. On top of it, it cuts end-drops in half if you fail timer but still counts towards vault. So you still get your guaranteed 226 but not your 207. Why?
I’d like to see it where there’s no reliance on timer and percentages, and it’s a more smooth, organic run, similar to Torghast.
a deathcount would be a decent way to manage M+, maybe with a lenient timer like 1hr to prevent super-degenerate gameplay.
