Mythic Plus Replacement

I do that every day when I raid with my guild.

We raid at a ce level

the real m+ was the enemies we made along the way~

As a new player in Wrath I took my time leveling through 80 levels on two toons, learning raids while being completely new to them and was in awe (while getting yelled at a few times), and learned heroic dungeons while being super hooked. The game really pulled me in back then and had far more people playing it. A single server had a massive population and was super busy.

That’s not how this game works.

This game rewards level of gear based on difficulty of content.

Raiding is cross realm now, you have an even bigger population to play with. Mythic is also cross realm.

It’s your mindset, not the game.

New stuff is fun.

As I said the population has dropped cause of Blizzard and this community so that’s needed.

speaking of raiding, they need to release every raid under the raid finder so people can play it. why the hell is old raids just…not used anymore? it’ll be something fun to do end-game maybe for mogs or whatever but i’ve never done any of the old raids before i joined unless im missing it do it like xiv where you can queue it and not make it dead content.
:cherries:

Population that you didn’t play with dropped. Population you could play with increased.

It’s like saying pop has gone down because WOW closed in China and your game is suddenly worse off.

The population has dropped because the playerbase grew up.

Most people who played back then now are mid to late thirties.

Not everyone is in college with a ton of free time anymore.

And the kind of community left over leaves much to be desired.

But pop back then was a form of stats. People splintered across multiple servers with pretty much no way to interact.

Because no one is going to do out of date content.

You can easily go solo old raids.

No that’s completely false. This game has cycled thru hundreds of millions of people lol.

it’s not the same 10 million people for 20 years lol

Well yeah. Wow was super popular and a lot of people played.

Then people got out of college and started going to school.

The game is the most accessible now than it has ever been.

Yea, so even if population was higher then, you can play with more people now.

It’s not false.

Yes and then people coming in are less than the ones leaving.

Mmorpgs aren’t super popular anymore. They have their cult followings but a lot of younger gamers are enticed by instant gratification.

This game is also not designed for solo players so that playerbase cycles out too.

MH Wilds has like 10 min boss fights and that’s just the start…

Imagine fighting that long in WOW against a single boss lol.

Allegedly, easiest Monster Hunter game in the series.

Dungeons need to convert back into a non-competitive mode. If you want to be competitive, go play PvP. Dungeons and raids both are meant to be collaborative.

And another thing…

Why is it that if I’m able to obtain gear over time in a stress free way, why would that “kill” your gearing progression?

Is it because people only play the difficult content because they want the higher ILVL and not because they actually enjoy it so that would kill the participation in the difficulty content they don’t actually enjoy?

There is a perceived notion in the “try hard community” that if you make gear obtainable for everyone, it becomes worthless…

I have some bad news for you, it’s all worthless once the season is over.

Why do you care how someone else gets their gear?

Why do you care how someone else has fun?

And before you make the argument that “you don’t need high ILVL for easy content”, just remember that you’re using that high ILVL in the easy content as well. Should your gears ILVL be penalized in all content other than your preferred content?

I don’t think that’s the case. I think we should just let people have fun doing whatever content makes them happy and reward them for their time.

I mean…we’re all here to have fun, right? So let’s have fun!!!
