Mythic/Mythic+ queue

Is there a way to queue for mythic dungeons in LFR? I’m a casual player and kinda want to try Mythic (and maybe Mythic+ someday) but cant find how to queue for them. I assume the only way to get into a Mythic+ is to create your own group? Also, are there min iLvl requirements for each?
Thanks!

Unfortunately there is no way to que for a mythic dungeon, you have to create your own group, using the the premade group finder makes it a lot easier though. There are minimum requirements in a way, but they are more like recommended ilvls and it changes per mythic lvl

In addition to what Destructionn said, you dont HAVE to make your own group. You can join a premade group. Just look for anything under regular mythic or labeled “m0”. A lot of mythic dungeons will also be posted in the mythic keystone category. This no way to use the LFG auto-queue for anything mythic.

Awesome. Thanks for the clarification!

Couple of suggestions though to make things hopefully go more smoothly if you’ve never done a M dungeon:

Check out the dungeon journal and read up on some mechanics before you go into a specific dungeon. Small things you may have missed in a heroic dungeon might cause a death or wipe in M depending on the group.

If you have a guild or friends try to go with them over a PuG. They will hopefully be more patient and helpful than random people.

Good luck

This can’t be stressed enough.

I still run across mechanics I never knew anything about because they never were an issue for various reasons.

WoW Head guides are your friend, they have write ups on the trash mobs which are real important in M+.

I haven’t done a heroic or normal dungeon in so long that I can’t remember what the differences are, but I’m picturing things like shrine with kiting orbs, interrupting bosses, standing in seals… atal dazar killing totems, standing in blood for transfusion, avoiding spiders. A lot of that might not hurt so much in heroic, but they can be brutal in mythic.

Because mythic+ requires someone to use their keystone to spawn the instance. So you can’t really just throw together a group into a random instance with that system, someone has to be the one that uses their keystone to trigger it to become a “+” instead of just “0”.

Basically you can find group forming up in the premade section. Some use ilvl, some use “io” (a third party site that tracks you completed runs and determines a numeric values based upon the results) and others just don’t worry about either.

We should be able to queue for normal Mythics(0) Because its actually a joke and easy.

BUT BUT JUST MAKE YOUR GROUP AND FLY THERE

zZZZZZ~~~ 2019 and people are still living in the past.

They probably don’t let you queue for mythic 0 because they are a once a week lockout. The system would have to juggle who has want locks open in addition to the rest of the system.

Are you serious? that’s not even an issue.

The system could just not let you queue up for the dungeons that you are saved to, simple as that.

And once you are saved from all, you just can’t queue anymore.

If they wanted to do it, they can. they just don’t want to. They can also set the ilvl 365+ in-order to queue for a Mythic dungeon.

I didn’t say they couldn’t, I said the system doesn’t support it. The question is doesn’t Blizzard feel it is worth the additional work for content that you should be doing once and moving on to mythic+ tier?

Hell the only reason to even do mythic 0 these days are some low level introduction quests?

No it’s for alts, and it’s annoying to find people that just want to do Normal Mythics. In fact, yes it’s really hard to find people for Normal Mythics early in the morning.
