Mythic + Keys downgraded for Season 2?

Why did I get a +6 in my chest when I completed a +10 last week? I assume it has to do with Season 2 but why weren’t we told in the fancy blog post this would happen?

Mythic Keystones will go down by an additional 3 levels when the season transition occurs, to account for this difficulty increase. So if you do an 11 this coming week, instead of getting a Level 10 keystone when Season 2 starts, expect a 7.

We definitely were told somewhere because I remember reading it and my guildies were talking about it last night.
