Mythic+ is hard to get into and play, Blizz

Run your own key

people like you need to make more friends its an mmo for god’s sake. How can i come back from not playing for 2 whole expansions and still be miles ahead of players like you? you guys take zero initiative and blame your lack of skill/discipline on everything and everyone but yourselves. Go make some friends and play the game

Looks like you started to make more progress. It’s tedious, but keep pushing those keys 1 level at a time. Sometimes you will get lucky and get invited into a key 2 level above. If keys go really good ask the group if they want to keep pushing.

WoW’s biggest feature is waiting in line.

its the fact that you people are massive cry babies about hard end game content it makes it relatively easy to scoff at you guys

Trolls aren’t even trying to hide that they’re trolling anymore.

That’s due to gatekeeping of an addon called Raider IO.

Honestly, I say form your own groups or group up with friends. It’s what I’ve been doing most expac, and now that I’ve changed mains mid-season it’s going to be harder for me to look good on paper when queueing. It’s worth it because, one, you can explain mechanics or be explained mechanics in a comfortable environment before the dungeon. And two, you’re more likely to have more fun. I wish you luck on your M+ journey! :tea:

I’ve little issue getting intk +9’s, myself. And I’m spec’d for raiding.

What’s your IL?

Without the use of RaiderIO (or the built into the game version) a player in 405 ilevel gear who is pushing 17+ is just going to do it the old fashion way and look at your armory and see what level key you have timed because why would anyone risk their key’s successful completion and time commitment on a player who hasn’t done a key of that level or higher? Did you actually think about what you typed before you typed it?? When you used the word “gatekeeping” it instantly made me think you were rejected from groups, or worse kicked out, because you were in no way capable of doing a key you tried to do.

Do what I do fellow warrior.

Tank a few to raise the score
Dps the rest of the way

You should probably get your IO up before trying higher keys. That’s how the system is intended to work stop expecting a carry.

I mean, it is kind of peculiar to expect to get invited to a key if one haven’t done a lower version. If I’m doing a +14 then I’m not going to grab somebody with literally no exp.

They could be fine, but probably won’t be.

It’s also a matter of available alternatives. When one lists a key they can often have dozens of dps to pick from, and it doesn’t make sense to grab the one with little exp and/or gear.

I mean, yeah you probably did. Not issues with the hunter class directly, just they are the most played class overall and bringing extra hunters doesn’t add much.

Chores are totally true. This is also because IO isn’t calculated by your top dungeon - you don’t do just a +10 and that’s your score. You need to do a +10 of every single dungeon…on both tyrannical and fortified.

“ Wasting time is not a badge of honor.”

Nailed it

Agree that the utterly burnout design of M+, and how it feels mandatory to be competitive in pve, is contributing to chasing a lot of players away from wow

If M+ was capped at LFR gear levels barely anyone would endure the friction filled super repetitive tedious slog. It is popular in participation almost entirely cuz of the carrot, not the experience.

Speak for yourself, I’m not getting gear from keys, I’m doing them because it’s a 30-minute commitment to do challenging group content that I can engage with at literally any time of day or night I so choose.

Bro… you gotta learn to walk before you can run. Don’t apply for 9s and 11s when you haven’t even timed at least a 7 on each dungeon. What’s going to make them want to bring you when they can see another warrior that has actually timed keys and has a decent m+ score?

They aren’t the problem you are trying to pug into groups you have no business pugging into.

If you want to run 10s without doing lower difficulties you need a group of friends or guildies to run with.

Your IO score is low. Plain and simple. You are also 6/8 Normal Vault. You have done 8 keystones timed so far. If you want to get into higher keys you have to get that score up. Get every key timed on 5-8. Then keep going for higher keys.

The reason you arent getting invited is as the keys get higher, experience counts more than gear. Sure gear helps. And you are more than geared for it. But your io score shows you as lacking experience. So as the keys get higher, interrupts, CCs, knowing the pulls and what not matters more.

By playing the game. Climb the ladder. Your DPS should shred lower keys, so just knock em out. Get your score up and boost that io score.

Im breaking into the 10-13 keys right now on my Spriest. Thats right. Spriest. And I dont have trouble getting into keys, because I have six +10 or higher keys timed. 48 run in +5-9. I am also 8/8N. I did the work to slowly but surely move my io up and I think I will be able to get KSM this season on Spriest. If I plateau though, I will just do it on one of my tanks.

You are competing with tons of other players, especially DPS. You are also competing with what groups want to bring which players. It’s not a Blizzard issue, it’s a community issue because players decide who they want to bring. You should really use your own key to build up rating because with more rating people see you have/can do keys with some knowledge.
