Mythic+ has probably damaged WoW worse than anything ever added

whoever told you that was a fool, or a troll, or dumb.

I can’t help it. I work in blue collar lol

Then they were lying to make you feel better or had no idea themselves. The Rio add on has no ability to communicate, it’s just a bunch of names and numbers that needs to be updated every day or so to keep it roughly accurate.

They were lying because your IO is probably awful

I think I pugged into the mid 20s range in SL without downloading it so I don’t know about this.

M+ gameplay is definitely a plus to the game, but the reward structure of the game and respect of player’s time has personally gotten worse since its introduction. With even the 2 last seasons resetting gear even harder when they should go into the other direction.

Borrowed powers grinds where the answer to gear becoming lackluster and not being a longterm progression so you still got more powerful later in a patch. To some point in the current ecosystem they’re a necessary evil.

Raiding is a time investment, that’s what “killed” it. PvP is full of trash talking trolls, that’s what “killed” it.

Having another end game option saved the game.

Personal opinion of course, but I think Mythic+ could be made better if they cool it with the affixes.

Instead of one-shot mechanics everywhere make it where the mobs are getting stamina type buffs for difficulty. Where you’re not necessarily dying to them, but it becomes pretty obvious when you aren’t going to time the dungeon.

And you can still have a affix that does the more one 'shot easier enemies, but variety would be nice.

When someone around you isn’t queue in LFD and If you’re trying to invite someone around you that doesn’t have the addon you have to go to raider io website to look them up. I didn’t know this when I first couldn’t see some others io.

I turned it off for most of season 1 and was doing keys well above title range. It has nothing to do with peoples ability to see your score or experience.

past me would have strongly disagreed with you
but today me sure is enjoying running 8-9s without that third affix. yes, I’m perfectly capable of handling the third affix, but it’s nice not to.

Yeah, people can see what they want or need to see regardless of whether or not you have the addon is what I should’ve said. Makes me think they made it up that they were told they didn’t have it.

Me being an adult with responsibilities that tax me mentally, emotionally, financially, and physically killed off raiding for me more than M+. I cannot handle larger group content like raiding due to how much extra effort I need in a larger group setting versus world content or M+. I cannot give that extra for raiding. It is enough for M+ (one or two dungeons a night at max).

I can’t speak for others, though I am sure they may feel the same when it comes to what they can expend.

You need to some numbers for this one. Feels like you needed to justify your stance by concern trolling for the “new players.” You don’t need to concern troll that group to justify your feelings. You can state “I don’t like M+, here’s why” without needing to concern troll.

BTW, I joined M+ very late S3. We’re talking two weeks before S4 patch late. I had no problem getting groups. I was only in gear from world events and heroic. I skipped M0. Even though my experience is anecdotal, it was not a rare occurrence.

Boy golly does pushing seem like a horrific time investment. :dracthyr_uwahh_animated:

ok that part is true. you only see player’s in-game io in the LFG lists.

Well I got denied plenty of times, and when I whispered and asked why. They always said because I didn’t have raider io. So now I always use it when pugging. If I have friends to run with I turn it off because it’s not a light addon and causes lag spikes sometimes.

Yes but that’s also you needing the add on, not them.

There’s no way.

No, that isn’t how it works.

they probably said because your io is too low.

they have no way of knowing if you are running the addon or not, nor would they care.
