Just stop ffs
poor warlocks, we had absolutely no participation in the arena championship, sad for them.
The e-sport is 100% epc fail IMO, I do not understand why the company keeps pushing this and losing money from it
Yawn I’m good I’ll play oblivion instead
Miss me with that.
For every team not playing the 5 meta specs, give them time bonuses per non-meta character. THAT would be interesting.
So if you are like Brew, Holy Pal, Enh Sham, Dev Evoker, and say, BM Hunter, you get a 3 minute headstart over a team with five meta.
I always love the little videos they maks for these. The dungeons just look so fun!
I don’t think I’ve ever watched the real event but the stylized dungeon video is cool.
What? Why would you do this? The Great push format is soo incredibly boring. I think I’ve watched every MDI to some degree in the traditional format, but only watched one, maybe 2 great push formats because it’s just unbearable.
As a spectator, all you do is watch groups wipe and reset over and over again. It’s not at all fun to watch. I mean, I get players enjoy pushing the highest keys possible, and I get some people like watching it, but it’s just not possible to create some of the close, intense battles we see in the traditional format.
Please let this be the last season you do it this way.
i think ill go watch paint dry instead.
I’d actually watch it if it were non-meta specs/classes only.
There’s nothing special nor fun about watching dungeon clears by the same folks that are always present.
Even then, it’s still not good watching lmao.
Watching brainrot is more entertaining.
It’s funny how hard they try to push M+, thinking folks will like it and not experience PuG hell.
PuG M+ is real M+.
It’s like comparing any pro Esports to the real deal- people with premade teams aren’t what the average player experiences.
Honestly, PuG would be a lot more fun to watch due to drama lol
Why is the prize pool so small when they make billions lol
principal skinner rubbing fingers together.gif.
The old head-to-head speedrun format sucked because one wipe and the other team can just play it safe for the rest of the dungeon. The Great Push format does need to be improved. Gotta be shorter, change the scoring so untimed keys aren’t a complete waste of time.
Yeah, but then the other team can wipe, allowing them to catch up, which happened all the time.
And come on, that’s a little disingenuous. I don’t know if just haven’t watched enough head-to-head, but as many one-sided victories, there are just as many close match ups, teams winning by seconds, upsets from lower-seeded teams, casters going wild with how close the matches are.
And outside of individual matches, the whole flow and viewing experience is superior. Viewers are only watching two teams at a time, casters are able to better focus and communicate what’s going on better … When a match ends, casters analyze and take a break until the next match up. Meanwhile, with GP, 5 or 6 teams are competing at once, but Blizzard only can only fit four on the screen, which is still too small (forget watching it on your phone). All of teams just wipe and reset over and over again for hours on end until they FINALLY time a key. Casters can barely keep up with commenting on what all is happening. There is no excitement whatsoever.
TL;DR
Head-to-head, bracket/tournament style is way more entertaining and it’s not even close.
People are so proud of proclaiming they dont watch something.
