I highly doubt the people saying they’re overtuned are going in at the recommended ilvl (600 for 8). Delves are meant to be an alternative progression system for solo/small group/casual… Why would they be tuned for that audience to be clearing near the max rank and for max ilvl of that progression path day 1, or week 1? Mythic raiders don’t expect to clear their progression system week 1.
That being said yes, some people ARE going to be able to clear it, but that’s more of a class design issue than a tuning issue.
It’s the same tier loot, not same ilevel. You do save a couple upgrades so depends on how many Vstones you have. The tier jump to champion (heroic vault) happens at 7. So big jump from 6 to 7, not so much 7 to 8.
Against all odds, I, as a rogue was able to solo a T8 bountiful. So your whole “BuT dIfFeReNt ClAsSeS” is moot. It’s a skill and gear issue. If you aren’t competent enough to complete one solo, then get a little more gear and go again. It’s really that simple
My issue so far with this content is that I don’t feel powerful in any of it. In Normal dungeons I was getting destroyed by Fury Warriors who do 5 mil damage the moment they touch a pack, it all dies instantly before I can get 5 CP tempest. In heroics I was dying or near death or couldn’t control my character for 80% of the dungeon (Cinderbrew, Darkcleft, etc) and the tank was playing the game for all of us.
In Delves I feel like I’m playing Path of Exile Ruthless mode. Everything hits for 50% of my HP, I have to kite things to death for 5-10 minutes each, use CC, use defensives, use every possible thing available to me to kill one mob, avoid ground effects. That doesn’t feel powerful, I feel like a Horseshoe Hare in an obstacle course fighting for my life.
I’ve cleared 3 M0s. In every single one I felt like a follower NPC, like someone’s pet they toggled on. I run along, unable to enter stealth, while the ranged specs do 5 million damage every pull while the tank stands in AOE and boss is completely surrounded by webs, lava, flames, acid, poison, doesn’t bother moving the boss, so if I hit it I get chunked for half my health.
The only content I actually feel POWERFUL in this game so far has been farming Crackling Shards. This is just sad. (I’ve been farming them for 2 days and one hasn’t dropped by the way, so that about sums up this expansion.)
Uh, well if you look at my paladins level, much like that of your shaman your posting on you can see its level 70 so no, I did not do it on my paladin. I did it on my ele shaman and my friend was a frost dk.
I also didn’t say anyone was wrong, please don’t put words in my mouth, thanks. I simply was replying to the person who said they completed all of them, saying I did them too, but I had help basically.
You seem extremely aggressive for no reason towards random people who are just replying to things and not being aggressive. You should look at that and figure out why because honestly all of your posts in this thread have been extremely angry.
I never once said they were not overtuned in fact I agree which is WHY I had to do them with someone else and that with one more person they become a lot easier.
The general consensus of the forum seems to be to tell you to “get good” or “quit.” At least that’s what I’ve been getting when I say I’ve been having a bad time.
I hope you find a way to make the game what you want it to be and turn this around. Maybe they will straighten things out with balancing in the coming weeks.
