Myth track delve vault

At least I can admit it. I just get so sick of people trying to high road with “the good of the game” crap.

I see no harm is mythic track vault loot from delve+, you can hit mythic track in the other 2 categories so why not, balance accordingly.

I’ve yet to see anyone tell me how getting this gear through delves affects anyone else.

This is the real sticking point. People want the loot but they don’t want the difficulty.

You add hard solo content and put myth rewards behind it and people will just complain til it’s easy.

youre ignoring it as weve all (I think 3 or 4 of us) explained it multiple times.
If delves give mythic track gear. The rest of the MMO slowly dies.
We enjoy the rest of the MMO-> therefore it is bad.
(unless they make it mythic track later in season)

No you’re not. There is no way to obtain Myth track gear from solo content. Crafted gear is close in ilvl but it’s not Myth track gear.

M+ has already slowly been killing WOW by being the easiest most rewarding gearing method, I see no reason to restrict delves.

Dude, it’s 3 levels off. That is mythic track gear, many crafted items are better than their raid counter parts because the secondary stats can be better.

So the MMO isn’t fun, people just do it for the rewards?

Don’t care about the hairs you’re trying to split here. I have full mythic appearance and in the end that’s all that matters. Ilvl is fleeting but mog is forever.

It’s still not Myth track though. I have a lot of crafted gear but I don’t consider it Myth track. If that was the case the whole premise of this thread is moot.

no, thats actually a strawman btw:-) not to use silly words. I didn’t claim it was just for the rewards. But you must take human psych into account when talking about massive gameplay structures. If tons of people just want the gear; which has been shown to be the case; other areas of the game will suffer. Regardless of the reasons you or ME specifically play.

Well maybe the top end difficulty be only solo-able by the top 10%, but the rest can manage it in a 5 man party. Delves CAN be solo’d, doesn’t mean it has to be to in order to receive the best rewards.

If the MMO dies that means the only thing people cared about was the rewards.

Then those areas weren’t fun for that particular set of people to begin with. They’re just there for the reward and not the fun. That’s why you constantly see the pug scene get called a toxic wasteland over and over.

how many examples of things people adored that have been cancled/ended must i summon for you to dispell that nonsense xD? I’m sure you could think of a fair few.
But to briefly explain; the ‘death’ of aspects of a game are multifaceted. And sometimes small changes can have a big affect and vice versa. When talking about a gameplay loop like gearing. Were talking about a pivitol aspect of MMO’s as a genere. Making sweeping changes to that structure could destabalize even in the best of situations. To say ‘give every gear and if they quit i guess the game isnt good’ ignore a fundemental reasoon why people play to begin with.
It sounds to me like you’d prefer a game like genshin impact. A story game. (I like that game btw im not saying that in a bad way, though gachas are gacha).

Hmm. Sounds like you are saying theyd have to make delves virtually impossible for them to justify myth gear rewards. If that were the case noone would do them. They dont have to be as difficult as you are implying. They just need to require precise play but they have to be possible to do. For some classes the ?? difficulty is nearly impossible. That needs to be addressed. Make them punishing yes…but always make sure you can counter play the mechanics.

I know youre talking to him; but me personally I dont think it should have much to do with difficulty. I think the fact that its solo content means if they want to add mythic track it MUST be later in the season so as not to disrupt the rest of the gameplay loop.

Zekvir (??) was done by every single spec at 600 ilvl. The fight started decently hard and then they obliterated the difficulty 2 weeks into the patch.

They haven’t done that with underpin, but it’s also still just a bad fight.

Holy and Disc got the kill at that ilvl?
