I tried logging in to the game today and Battlenet isn’t giving me the option to use my existing account. It’s acting like I don’t even have a retail WoW Account. Everything is working fine on MoP Classic. But my retail account disappeared. The Account Selection option below the game version isn’t there. It’s offering me to buy the War Within, which i already have.
I’m worried my retail account has been hacked and got banned or deleted somehow. Any help on resolving this issue is appreciated!

I have two WoW accounts, but only have an active subscription for one of them.
I got a subscription expired notice. When I logged in, the only characters are from the old WoW account that doesn’t have a subscription.
My main WoW account has disappared from the launcher.

Same here. Both of my accounts are not showing for retail, but strangely they are showing for Classic WoW in the launcher.

Wild theory question for you. Have you upgraded your retail account and pre-ordered Midnight yet?

Nope. Still on the Fence about it, but if this has something to do with it then they ain’t doing a very good job of winning me over.

I have this same issue and was about to make the following post in a fresh thread:
After downloading pre-release content, I logged into TWW, but the loading screen came up, and it sent me to the Free Trial Screen. I logged out, made sure I was on the right thing (Live), logged back in, and found myself back on the Free Trial page. I tried this three more times, and once more, I’m on the Free Trial Page.
I checked my account, and it looks like TWW and all subsequent purchases are gone. I checked Curse Forge and my addons are there, checked my WoW folder and 109GB, went through my Transaction History all the way through to 2014 and it indicates that I did purchase: and it shows that I did purchase TWW, Dragonflight, BFA, & Legion (before that would have been Pandaria, WoD, Cataclysm, & Wrath that was purchased in 2009).
I’m unsure if this was the result of the Pre-Patch Download or possibly on the off chance I was hacked (Edit: I’m guessing the pre-patch must have done something). I will note that I’ve yet to purchase Midnight as of yet. I’m waiting likely later this month.

Same issue reported in this thread. Such a mess
WoW License Name Changed
I am having the same issue. I am able to log into MoP classic but not retail.
Same issue for me as well. My account appears in classic correctly but missing in retail.
I was going to put in a ticket but I don’t even know what to put it under.
Workaround would be to launch the game from the executable file within the file folder. The BNET launcher is the perceived issue.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. I was about to make a ticket or thread because it was weird. I can see the WoW(2) (my active game account) if I change to MOP classic, but then when I switch to retail its no longer in my list available to access. I can still see and manage the active game account. It just isn’t available in the launcher. All my inactive accounts are available in the launcher.

It worked. Not so sure I want to log out for a while now, hehe
My WoW2,3,4,5 are gone from the battlenet launcher. They have TWW licenses on them.
WoW1 is still there with Midnight pre-order.
A ticket isn’t necessary. They are investigating. I posted a response link in the other thread.

One thing to note about the different accounts since I have two of them. The older account that I don’t use any more is from before the WoW account names were standardized. WoW1 disappeared, but my old account with a custom name is still there.
Same problem here, I have a very old account that has been banned close to 15 years ago, but now I cannot log in my retail account that isnt banned and has an active subscription until april 2026 …
