I get Benedictus, but Garrosh is also Thrall’s story too. I mean he does bare some responsibility for him.
My point on the Garrosh thing is it a story that affect everyone. Sort of how this entire faction war storyline affects all of us and claiming it is a “Horde specific” story is farcical.
Baine hasn’t been fighting anyone except Horde soldiers Sorry undead Forsaken not Horde loyalist scum. He’s been standing in the great seal for most of BFA.
…
That’s not fair, he does team up with ghost Vol’jin and the PC to figure out what old god or void lord or generic evil Warcraft character made Sylvanas Warchief.
Would make one heck of a scene watching Baine stab Sylvanas in the throat with his horn while being publically shamed in front of his own people.
It might not kill her, but it will sure get her to shut the heck up.
Garrosh was an alliance specific story huh? I think this says a lot about your perception and why you have the attitude you do. Hell, you have counted Baine before because he happened to be standing in the background once when you talked to Vol’jin and made him grovel for help.
Hey, I wouldn’t mind Jaina in the story if she is grovelling for my help.
Also the Alliance didn’t deal with Thrall at all any time in 5.1. Hell, even Horde characters only have two quests with him. Your only interactions with Horde characters in 5.1 is attacking them. In fact the opposite is true in 5.1. Horde characters are the ones who are working along side Anduin when Garrosh causes chaos with the Divine Bell. He literally gives us buffs to help us against the sha manifesting.
The reality is that Thrall is only significant in two patches and one cutscene where he comes out of no where in WoD for Alliance players. That is it. Vol’jin, the other horde leader that Alliance players spent any significant time with, was another 2 patches. Out of WoW WHOLE lifespan.
Just as much as this current war campaign and this Baine story is as much a part of our storyline.
There is a reason etc. was their. I didnt my problem with 5.1 had anything in particular to do with Thrall.
Thrall is literally in the end of both the finales of Cata AND MoP. Not to mention Thrall was part of the into to things like Deepholme, we had an entire elemental bond quest dedicated to save him.
Look, I had to deal with Aggra and ultimately even helped save Grom(who will later lead to a new race joining the Horde). We have had PLENTY of interaction were both storyline for Horde/Alliance collide.
She gets to Grovel as soon as she mana bombs one of your cities.
Well that actually fits Baine’s character to not lift a finger for Sylvanas’ stupid war. Also given the continual appearances of Scourge Tabards with the forsaken, including the new recruit Stone, can we really assume the forsaken are actually forsaken?
And yes Baine clearly has reviewed the script from the original corruption of the horde.
- Ghostly voice influences horde
- Horde commits genocide
- Horde enters into all out war with Human lead Alliance
It would also be in character for Baine to try and figure out who is Kil’Jaden 2.0. While he hasn’t unmasked Kil’Jaden 2.0 yet, he has seen enough to try and prevent an escalation of said stupid war. Also how much more scourge like does Sylvanas need to go before things just get silly.
As for challenging Sylvanas, that is just repeating Doomhammer’s mistakes. Sure you have changed warchiefs, but Teldrassil wasn’t just Sylvanas. And everyone knows it.
