My puppers crossed the rainbow bridge today

I’m sorry. Try to remember, you gave them an amazing, love filled life. And if they could speak and think like us, they would thank you. And would tell you to keep living, keep loving, share it with the next pet, if you have one, which I hope you do get another. Love shouldn’t ever stop, even when tragedy strikes.

Thank you for the kind words, as well as to all around here. It just helps knowing that others truly do care.

But, I do have 5 other dogs. 3 other yorkies, a Weiner dog, and a golden doodle. I’ll always have puppers.

Sorry for your loss. This sort of thing is never easy, no matter how many times one may experience it. Pets are family, after all. Take all the time you need to grieve.

I’m sorry for your loss and I understand how you feel. I had to put my dog down at the age of 8. It was really hard because I wasn’t ready for it either.

What really helped me is when my husband dropped a new puppy in my lap. At first I was annoyed because I wasn’t ready to replace her (Sam) but puppies have a way of worming their way into your heart.

I’m so sorry. Losing a pet is such a sad experience. Hopefully you can remember all the good times you had with her and find some comfort

A spunky and aggressive yorkie. That means she lived an exciting and wonderful life :slightly_smiling_face: what was her name if you don’t mind me asking?

Hard losing a dog. I swore on a stack of buffalo robes the last one would be the last, that was rough he had a heart attack and died during a thunderstorm. But my son bought another and now here he is in all his stupid glory, dumbest dog I ever owned. I wake up and he’s wrapped around my feet. Wait a while and get back on the horse, there is a dog who needs you out there.

Sorry for your loss dude… I had to put down an 18 yo cat several years ago… Her kidneys had started to fail. Hardest thing I ever did. I found her as at about 1mo old someone had thrown her and her siblings out into a ditch. She was the only one that survived.

I’m truly sorry, they are family members and it HURTS. Just know that you made him happier than he could have imagined while he was with you

Ginger. She was feisty and lively at every step. 12lb guard dog if you will.

I’ve got 5 others to take care of

–I’m going to create a Character in WoW that’s a healer and go through Ardenweald in the shadowlands. It reminds me of the rainbow bridge with all the colors and just seems peaceful.

It’s hard to lose a good friend. :sob: I’ve found that the best cure by far is a trip to the animal shelter.

They’d want that, I think — for another pup to have the loving home that they did.

Do you have any of the puppy battle pets? Name one after her too! That way she’s always with you.
