I don’t understand anyone praising them for what they did to Wintergrasp. According to the Classic Team they had to change it because of layers. Layers…which they promised would be removed forever in Phase 2 of original Classic four years ago.
Oh, and because of Megaservers. Megaservers which should never have been allowed to exist. But Blizz loves $$$ and people transferring to Megaservers gets them more money. And why do players do it? Because of poor design decisions like not including RDF earlier and making lower pop servers a liability. They refuse to ban GDKPs, so everyone goes to megaservers to buy gold and buy gear. They’re riddled with bots who supply most of the gold for those GDKPs. Bots which Blizz does nothing about (and forget those condescending, BS monthly Blue posts about how many thousands of accounts they ban).
These people deserve zero praise. They flushed the game down the toilet.
