I had this problem with my Warlock? He’s Destro, Wither spec so a lot of Soul Shard spam, so I more or less cut out Chaos Bolt from my rotation entirely? All Rain of Fire and the instant cast Shadowflame thing. Not sure if it’s right or not, but it’s working well so I’m sticking with it?
Also with the level of mobility you need nowadays I don’t have time to hard cast a Chaos Bolt. Isn’t quite the same as a Streamlined Aimed Shot. I like being able to throw down some fire and cast Incinerates and near instant cast Soul Fires which do just as much damage in the same time frame, usually.
Anyway, with RoF being my go-to I opted for Grimoire of Sacrifice. I didn’t want those smelly demons following me around so if I’m doing constant, rapid fire damage I want a chance to do even more rapid fire damage on top of it. Made sense to me.
But every time I leveled and picked a talent, it completely removed it. I usually use Felhunter for the interrupt so every level, painfully resummon my Felhunter, sac it and the buff returns, yay. Every level.
It’s minor but it’s so annoying and I know there were times I forgot.
Same thing with my Surv Hunter and resummoning my pet upon death. When I start Kill Commanding and forget that my pet needs to be there, it’s not my brightest moments as I’m sitting there in front of Dimmy, doing zero damage.
