My Launch Was Fine

You sound like you own the right to stay on that server and not the other who havent the chance to get in at launch.

I understand enjoying a company but to completely pretend like nothing they do is wrong and convincing themselves that there were NO issues this launch

it reminds me of that meme with the dog in the burning building saying “this is fine”

My launch day was fine too. A little bit of lag in beggining but after leaving the first zone was fine.

Grats!
:facepunch::partying_face:

did you have anything important to say other than flexing on people who spent half of their day waiting? did I miss something?

No real ability to respond… you completely made up your entire post about something someone said that had nothing to do with what you did…

hashtag or not… its best to just walk away when you’re busted out for making crap up…

honestly im okay with queue’s to me thats not a bad launch. Bad launch would be constant DC’s, bugged content etc. Though i do understand other people’s frustrations.

I’ve responded to several people, just not you because of your hashtag. I’m sorry but that boomer type of response is just too nauseating for me to stomach. Hashtags don’t even work here lmao

Smooth?
No

Expected?
Yes

All that bad?
Not really

I had several friends in queue for hours, finally get in, dc hours later, and then have to requeue again

Not sure how 40 people couldn’t organize with 2 weeks notice. Everyone now a days uses a discord server really not hard to communicate, my group decided real quick to change servers after all the news articles we saw bout ridiculous queue times

same here. But I didn’t have to be on any specific server. I just hopped on the most recent, lowest pop server I could find. And it was still extremely lively.

I guess the “I got in so It does not matter” mindset is in full swing now. Yeah yeah you had no problem ok but the other thousands of us did.

Smooth my keyster…

Hold up

Your answer is basically “well, I don’t understand why you couldn’t do this”

instead of “a multi million dollar company launching a 15 year old game still cannot figure out server loads”

Everyone that said my launch was fine all said this line.

The issue is not everyone could do that and had either a terrible time or no time at all as they could not get in.

No it’s not there obviously is other reasons they may have gone this way such as they assume the hype may drop off pretty quickly(which I believe it will) and don’t need a bunch of empty servers in a raiding environment that requires 40 people and not 10 like we have now.

Is it ideal? no. but they offered solutions and advanced warning of what was going on. You obviously just didn’t want to be proactive enough to not play queue time simulator

Understood, and I agree; moving a guild or a bunch of people to a different server is a PITA.

But in the end you knew the queues were coming, you thought about moving but instead you chose to live with the queues. Fair enough.

So… what was the problem, again?

imagine thinking we give a F if your launch went right considering there was 250 000 + people waiting in Q while you had your satisfying time.

So you responded despite refusing to respond… but decided not to refute the point that you made up your entire post and it was a straight up lie…
Then tried to put me down for how I called you out because you don’t like hashtags…

You are stunning and brave I tell you… stunning and brave!

of course the hype will die off quickly. I’m sure there was no other way to circumvent this tragedy of a queue time in the year of 2019 technology. no way.

however, life is not black and white, and most of my guildies quit wow far before classic release date was announced. it was hard enough to even announce a server to all of them bc people were hard to get a hold of.

but again, it is our fault, not the multi million dollar company’s fault.
