Nice. Congrats. I would have been totally down for going along for something like this. Always loved helping people out with the pally and lock mount quests back in the day. I have those classes of my own this time around and certainly hope I can find help when the time comes. Warriors have their own list of adventures as well.
My own happy moment was nothing compared to that. Just sort of a seja-vu thing. When I started paying , I met someone who became a good friend. Enough that they sent me their computer when they got an upgrade because mine was such a hunk of trash. Their toon looked like a twin sister to mine except mine was a priest and theirs a warlock.
A few nights ago, I was in Westfall, coming back to Sentinel Hill after a nice group with some random people questing in Dagger Hills and clearing the beaches of murlocs. I was on my Warlock, inspired by that same friend. I came over a hill and stopped, realizing I was in the exact spot where we met. I wondered how they were and if they’d heard about classic. I of course wished they were here. I doubt they are playing though. They quit wow a couple years later because of some greifing involving a hunter trap exploit Blizz was dragging it’s feet on fixing. It got fixed, but not in time for my friend. But that little deja-vu and having the old Wow back just made me feel like i was home again.
