Core Ability Changes
-
Word of Glory healing increased by 30% (Spenders should be stronger than builders).
-
Holy Shock healing increased by 20%.
-
Light of Dawn healing increased by 20%.
-
Holy Light now has a 8-10s cooldown duration and 2 charges, preventing innervate abuse in raid.
This alone should represent around a ~8-9 HPS increase and prevent degenerate playstyles.
Sustained Healing & Maintenance
-
Tyr’s Deliverance:
- Healing each 0.8 seconds increased by X% (should be around 500%, being fair..)
-
Blessing of the Lightforged:
-
Back to % healing, buffed to 3% to two targets (only Hpal)
-
Now prioritizes injured allies within range
-
-
Pillars Of Light and Truth Prevails (for stronger judgments) buffed by X%.
-
Empyrean Legacy buffed to 70%.
Absorbs, Preventive Healing and Externals
-
Veneration (for stronger judgments):
- Absorb amount increased by X%. Reset removed.
-
Glistening Radiance and Saved by the Light::
- Absorb effects increased by X% (or back to granting shields with Holy power)
-
Seraphic Barrier:
- Reverted to beta version: Now grants an additional absorb effects for 15% of healing done.
-
Overflowing Light:
- Overhealing is now converted into an absorb shield up to 15% of the target’s maximum health, back to 50% of overhealing is converted into the shield
-
Greater Judgment (for stronger judgments):
- Damage prevention effects increased by X%
-
Sacrifice of the Just:
- Now reduces the cooldown of Blessing of Sacrifice to 90 seconds
Cooldowns
-
Aura Mastery now has updated choice nodes (Raid vs M+ tuning knob), replacing Unwavering Spirit and Protection of Tyr:
-
Unwavering Spirit (Raid-centered)
- Increases healing done to all allies by 10%, duration increased to 12 seconds. Each spender cast leaves a HoT that heals for 10 additional seconds, LoD leaves more hots but weaker, WoG stronger ones on the target.
-
Protection of Tyr (Mythic+)
- Grants an absorb shield equal to 20% of maximum health, Damage Reduction increased to 15%, but Aura Mastery now affects only 5 targets.
-
-
If still needed, Avenging Wrath could be reverted to 20% healing, damage and critical strike increase.
Talent Updates
-
Awakening has been removed.
-
Rising Sunlight is back to giving 2 charges of triple holy shock (with reduced effectiveness if needed since Divine Toll CD is now shorter, or limit Holy power generation to just 1).
-
Seraphic Barrier replaces Seek Deliverance position, Seek Deliverance removed.
-
Beacon Specialization node now added to Capstone (in the previous place of Seraphic Barrier)
-
Light of the Martyr fixed with Beacon of the Saviour, Bestow Light healing increased by X%.
-
Liberation buffed by X%.
New Choice Node: Beacon Specialization (tuning knob for raid vs m+)
-
Beacon of Radiance (The reverse beacon idea posted here on forums) (Raid talent)
- Direct healing on your Beacon of Light target splashes X% of effective healing to up to 6 nearby allies. Replaces beacon of Virtue/Faith.
-
Beacon of Purpose (M+)
- Beacon targets now stores X% of healing done directly to the target, releasing if the target is below 25%. (internal cooldown needed) (Could replace old Saved by the Light is reverted). Any other idea for M+ is welcomed.
Hero Talents
-
Sun’s Avatar:
- Healing increased by X%
-
Dawnlight:
- Healing increased by X%
-
Eternal Flame HoT reduced to 10 seconds, HoT total healing buffed.
-
Hammer and Anvil:
- Healing increased by X%.
-
Blessing of the Forge summons 2 additional Sacred Weapons.
-
Reflection of Radiance gives a chance of judgement to critically strike and deal X% increased damage.
Since paladin is far behind, here’s a crazy idea…
- Replace Awakening or Avenging Crusader with a reworked Ashen Hallow, capped at 5 healing targets, with more reduced healing beyond that number of targets.
- If AH replaces Awakening, then it would be a 4 min cooldown. If its in the choice node of Wings, then its a less powerful, 2 min cooldown.
Intentions of these changes:
Stronger spenders and base kit, Stronger judgments, increased HPS, sustained and maintenance healing with talents, stronger AM, tuning knobs, give Hpal different build options for raid and m+, and alternatives to Holy Light and FoL builds.
Not all buffs have to be applied at the same time, since probably the sum of all these changes would account for more than 25% healing, its just ideas to address the core issues the spec is facing. For example, greatly buffing Sun’s Avatar and Dawnlight at the same time with Tyr’s make be troublesome if the hps is tuned high later on.
Any idea and suggestion to improve Hpal is welcomed.
