Our guilds name is Idiots. Has been for a long time. Recently, over the past few expansions, something is triggering, automatically I assume, to flag our guild name and change it. Our guilds name isn’t offensive to anyone that I am aware of and it’s strictly a joke pointed at ourselves. The guild isn’t named or something targeted.
What makes it worse is our GM/Raid Lead is temporarily banned because of this which will cut out a raid day.
Not to mention multiple uses of the very benign word, Idiot, through the game from various NPCs.
Could someone from Blizzard PLEASE find a way to avoid flagging our guild for something so rediculous?

Maybe don’t name your guild “Idiots” anymore? Banning your GM is a pretty clear sign Blizzard’s getting tired of correcting you.

I was in a raiding community for a while called “Short bus raiders” It was actually founded by and had several autistic members who rode the short bus at one point in their lives. It kept getting complaints, so they eventually had to change the name.
From the community’s perspective, it improved things because they didn’t have to keep explaining the name, and on some level they appreciated the concern.

Enough players saw your guild name as offensive and it got enough reports..Do we really have to spell it out?
Do certain things against the ToS things arw going to happen.

I think I saw the x post too from.
At this stage best to use something else that captures the essence that isn’t at risk.
Ours was based around the same principle but we ended up with “Mechanics Optional” as a little self-diss.

There a multiple guilds with that name and the guild OP is in has been around for a while. It is likely a single person or group of people maybe even within the guild that have spite with the GM and keep reporting the name.
Ya sadly i have to agree with others. Its not fair your name keeps getting flagged but at this point may be best to just alter it.

I saw a guild named “Stands in fire” once. And back in Wrath, I remember one called “Shut up and color”

See, that’s creative. Maybe try: “Sam Eats Paste” or a variation like “Windrunner Village idiots”
Their guild names would also be changed if enough folks reported them. At least that’s what the TOS tells us.
Ouch. Sounds more like they need to start being nicer to folks. Maybe don’t ninja raid loot or something.
Or do anything remotely impolite. Like being female and telling random elite PvP player #42643 to leave you alone. My condolences but your guild name is now the target.
