Their rules don’t allow forming groups unless you’re doing a dungeon, and you can only do a dungeon once, lmao.

These HC people are like the raiding area 51 group, they get you all hyped up that its gonna be huge to join them and when you get there theres only like 17 of them there.

There is a Wotlk version of the hardcore addon and people do the hardcore challenge on wotlk servers too, so it’s perfectly reasonable to post here.

I’m not sure if you know how this works, but verifiable facts are not “wrong”. I could link you the wotlk hardcore addon page on curse, but then of course I would be “advertising”.

Speaking of which, no one is “advertising” hardcore. Nobody is profiting from it. If anything they are posting to get reactions like yours and you are pretty much feeding them a steady diet of satisfaction. Just ignore them and they would fall off into obscurity.

I don’t know, I think all these topics about HC do look kind of like ads by sockpuppets but I also love when people find different ways to enjoy the game. I find it way more interesting than the routine and bland path that most take.

Really the best thing to do if you don’t like these threads is to report as spam and then… don’t reply. Bumping with comments that frankly read like some sort of weird jealousy does not help. It just puts the threads at the top and more people read them.

Hardcore is anything but Hardcore it’s an excuse for reroll andies to feel like they are “challenged” through 15+ YEAR OLD CONTENT same SCRIPTING same pathways. These are the idiots that body pull in your raids they are trash low quality players trying to make leveling on one life seem like a great feat. It’s not go away

Paladin/Paladin. Being able to bubble hearth might save you once or twice, if that’s within the rule set.

Just because something is old, doesn’t mean it isn’t challenging.

Since reading is hard for you, no one who’s made these threads has mentioned wotlk HC cause you know what THEY ARE USING HARDCORE CLASSIC VANILLA.

Go ahead name one of these 7+ topics about hardcore on this forum that even mentions “come join wotlk hard core”, no seriously name one I’ll be waiting.

edit: Btw, you know that wotlk is classic right? It’s under the “classic” tab on the blizzard game launcher, it’s called classic era in the games own file system. The term classic is used to reference both the vanilla servers and the wotlk servers. Heck it even has the world classic in the name of the forums we are currently posting in.

It’s incredibly simple.

A tier duo: One of the classes has heals
S tier duo: One of the classes has heals, and you’re both different armor types so don’t have to share

That’s it really. Every single class in this game though has some incredible strength so it doesn’t really matter what you choose. Still fine without a healer even if played well. Only class I wouldn’t recommend is Warrior, it has the least amount of flexibility and completely dependant on high quality loot to even reach baseline performance any other class has.

Warrior and priest are a great combo. If youre going horde, warrior and shaman.

There are also others you can do like, lock and druid, hunter and mage. Those are what I am aware of as being decent combos.

OP…you did read rules for this right?

Just asking. both of you have to start in same area by level 2. so yeah…if someone wants to be a tank, pick dps (or healz) carefully around the tank.

I am not even sure how much xp a dwarf would pick up on the road to SW then elwynn if paladin was chosen tank. I’d be having NE hunter (well any class) and human paladin out of the list.

that would be…the death march from hell. And lots of found new area XP if one even lived it.

also watch westfall if going more human. one or 2 known griefers were working pvp bypasses to drop HC chars past day or so.

one is an Orc warrior. the added pita is they aren’t even HC. they lose nothing in this. I’d cut some slack if HC and pvp baiting. they’d lose something.
