My game's patching, so what's the worst candy you like?

I never could stand Necco Wafers, tasted like you were eating chalk, I guess you can still get them along with a lot of the other retro candy. I love Chuckles! Not the licorice ones, threw them out, but I have always loved Chuckles since I was a kid. There are other types of them now that you can get from other places, but they don’t taste the same as Chuckles!

Well tonight I was out shopping went to FD for coffee, and they had cherry poprocks. I didn’t buy them don’t like cherry, but if they had grape, it woulda been game on.

Back in the early 60’s we’d enjoy those waxy bottles with a tiny sip of some kind of sweet juice and then chew on the wax.

I love dark chocolate myself, so I pick this one as my response. :stuck_out_tongue:

Chupa Chups

I talk mad trash about people that eat candy corn because it’s garbage candy for garbage people.

…but I might still steal some from the kids after Halloween.

Orange flavored ‘slices’. The ones coated in sugar that are obviously not actually orange.

The people at work get some type of guava candy that many cannot stand from an employee. So they funnel it to me.

Also love me some candy corn

It actually tastes sweet to me. Strong, slightly bitter, but slightly sweet.

As for unsweetened baking chocolate… I can eat that without flinching. It’s not tasty, but it’s edible.

I enjoy the complex and unique flavor of salted licorice/salmiakki, but in small doses of course. It’s not something I’d sit there and shove in my mouth while watching TV but I find it enjoyable and interesting in small doses. Very small doses because it’s EXTREMELY intense.

Probably Rock Candy for me, though I suppose it depends on the context of ‘worst.’

Addendum:

It’s been quite a while since I’ve had Rock Candy. I’ve only ever been able to find it in museum shops. These days I mostly eat cookies or fruit snacks as far as sweets are concerned.

Yeah I know. It’s like the survival chocolate the military uses.

I like about 70% dark. That’s perfect. But then I have 86% Japanese chocolate on my desk and that’s pretty good too.

It’s apparently Candy corn.
I love the stuff but everyone seems to treat it like the Devil’s sweets.

I really don’t get it, what’s so bad about it?

I’m at the point where 70% is intolerably sweet to me.

I am interested about the latter.

They have some that’s 95% !! That’s super bitter, yeah?

95% might be a bit too much for me.

According to my mother: Marzipan.

You know those little peanut butter and caramel chews that come exclusively in unmarked black and orange wrappers and are only sold in bulk in bag full of other off brand candy on Halloween?

Yeah those.

Twizzlers. My fiancee loves Red Vines but hates Twizzlers. What can I say, opposites attract :man_shrugging:. In reality, I can’t just eat one, and I can’t explain why I like them. It’s not like they taste phenomenal or anything. I suspect chemicals are involved…

Can’t forget about candy corn. Insert hate below
