Try it out. Sunfury hasn’t been cutting it for me. Too much waiting on combustion, and it sucks if CD wasn’t reduced enough.

FF has kept me competitive DPS wise at least in my raids and M0 runs. No builds online have taken into account the recent FF hot fixes and balance changes.

Meteor frequency and damage contribution is freakin nuts.

Rotation changes

  • careful usage of FF empowerment to keep 6 stacks up, trigger hotstreaks, and proc excess frost/fire.
  • saving shifting power for fireblast, meteor, and combustion, but mostly meteor.
  • line up meteor with SKB or combust as much as you can

I’m very interested in giving this a shot in m+, waiting on combustion for aoe in sunfury is very Annoying

I have played both FF and Sunfury and FF is the winner . I needed both CC and AOE to make my Fire mage a complete balance dps .

the living bomb buff now puts it as 3rd / 4th damage contribution. wowie
