While I dislike the whole “snowflake” attitude and comment, I have to say that I have also never experienced anything like the OP is talking about, and I’ve been playing since 2009. I don’t play on RP servers, don’t know if its more prevalent there, but people on my servers know that we are all just playing a game. I’m not even sure how anyone would know the OP mains a Horde toon unless they announce it somehow. While there is nothing wrong with that, at most what I’d get is silly suggestions.
Then again, Aussies tend to take the whole faction insult thing very unseriously. They are more likely to insult your mog than your playing choices, especially as most of them also have characters on the other faction.
