I’m not sure what you’re talking about.
Druids have had the same experience every expansion since Warlords : travel form reverts to ground in the new zones.
No one really complained about it, in a druid specific manner.
I think you’re regarding “complaining” to only count as an occurance when a certain percentage of the class players do so.
I wasn’t implying it would be a big deal.
All we want is a flight ability that lets us fly as our Dracthyr and treat it as flight form or any other mount. All mount restrictions would apply.

Saying they don’t have Flying Wild due to potential pathfinder complaints feels a touch moot, mostly because Dracthyr also don’t have any sort of proper cosmetic dragonriding in the Dragon Isles, which wouldn’t relate to that at all.

They start at level 58 … I’m okay with them learning Master Riding, but they should absolutely get lvl 30 base flying for free.

Dragonriding is heaps of fun. Soar is a bad comparison to it because it’s basically dragonriding that has been gutted. Same base mechanics, with a bare fraction of the freedom. Dragonriding lets you fly, Soar is more like a glide with a few bells and whistles. 
Easy fix to this is give Soar some in air regen, or let Dracthyr use themselves as a dragonriding skin, or let Soar just be a dragonriding skill that is a cosmetic link to dragonriding. Then Dracthyr can fly in the Dragon Isles, and it’s a cosmetic thing that hurts no one.
Can save the normal swim flying for the old world.
The more we can do to bring out requests in line with what the other players get, the more likely we are to be heard. If we ask for things that give us any perceived advantage, even a little one, then the pushback is that much more. Also, I was planning for a time where they might let Dracthyr be other classes too, and thus starting earlier.

Stop pulling this argument out of your prison pocket. No one gives a hoot about flying in dragon isles. All the threads are just about the base idea of flying. Not bypassing the pathfinder requirement. You’re worse than I am when it comes to arguing to argue.

It’s such an easy win as well. Like they literally have almost nothing to do other than add the ability and a button graphic. The animations are clearly there.

Sounds like a job for mechagon anti-gravety pack. Can be a flying Dracther for a while… if you have all that mechagon stuff unlocked, and only while you are there. Might be one more way with toy but I gotta check on it.
That is awesome. They are truly remiss to not just have this be a thing from the jump.
