No because you misinterpret the problem and think it is a solution.
Imagine you get a game with the HD remaster version.
But every boss is from the original NON-HD Release.
So you have this great looking HD remaster but you have to fight crappy pixelated bosses.
There’s a fan made mod available that upscales the bosses but it locks the game to 30fps instead of the uncapped easy 120 fps you could have.
Do you just accept this? Or do you argue that the company should have done a properly thorough job in the first place?
The fix is for those that want customization.
For my problem it is not a fix. It is a bandaid.
Why are you trying to imply it is bad that I want a better standard or default?
Because there are dozens of other, more important things these crap devs should be working on instead of something you can actually address yourself if you weren’t taking some idiotic stance against a solution that fixes what you’re whining about.

Okay so yeah, youre not looking for resolutions. Just here to complain about trivial things. The glyph is like a few hundred gold, it’s not that much work whatsoever.
We as warlocks have bigger complaints that need attention than something we have a solution to.

I’ still here looking at the same demons we have had for like 6 expansions now. Is it really hard to code in new glyph demons?
Because looking at the way they give hunters new pets at what seems like every patch to tame it seems like its not.
Lore wise warlocks are always looking to control new more powerful demons it seems even if it might cost them their own life, so how did we stop enslaving new demons after killing Guldan(daddy warlock) and being part of the Black Harvest.
I digress, going to need a new dev team to get some new warlock demons.
One would question if you had been working on their team you start to wonder why some classes are getting more than others in reference to the difference of pets between hunters/warlocks.
Both classes have been around since the 1st iteration of the game with different ways of getting their pets while one has been receiving an enormous update of different pets for about 7 yrs now where they have a dedicated website for it. Yet warlocks gaining power for the past years killing guldan/legion/using a wordsoul/traveling to the shadowslands have not been able to enslave any new demons? What’s going on with this dev team, any dev worth their salt would of thought by now to add some additional stuff to our ranks of demons.
Ahhh i forgot that developer has to be interested in our class, I guess sort of how we got our soul shards look/green flame back then. RIP

They don’t though. Every spec is inherently worse than their MoP counterparts and it’s so blatant when comparing them side to side (I did this on a paerver dw it’s not just nostalgia). No excuse for things to be mechanical downgrades compared to a version from 10 years ago when reverting is a simple fix if they’re too lazy to care like they obviously currently are.

Depends on the spec. I find demo ten times better than the mop version but that is my opinion.

You must not do pvp or any high end pve then. Current demo has so many flaws blizzard doesn’t care to address. The entire design philosophy of the spec is pretty bad too. Summoning like 20 demons isn’t fun to play against and it’s pointless and hard to balance. Old demo had its problems (honestly only had tuning issues that were easily fixable the design was perfectly fine) but it worked in every form of content just as well as most specs in the game. The same can’t be said about current.

But I do play both, just because I enjoy the game design more doesn’t mean I don’t play high end content or pvp. People can like different things friend.
Again, the fun factor for me is demo now is much more fun with the demons summoning and the tyrant than turning meta and being a demon. Some people won’t like it, like you, and others will love it, like me. It is that simple.

I’d do anything… and I mean anything for MoP Warlock to make its glorious return, god I miss it… literally loved every minute and every spec of Warlock back then… now I feel like I just put up with it cause I’ve had him since Vanilla and feel bad not having him as my Main.

This is true it’s all a matter of opinion, personally Metamorphosis was the best thing for Demo, MoP and Early WoD Meta truely was my fav…
But that’s my opinion, I do wish it will come back being a glorified imp mother doesn’t feel good, we summon low tier demons still… I wouldn’t mind it if our demons… we’re actual decent haha
I mean, to be fair even with meta we still used hand of gul’dan to summon a lot of imps. Only we were the demon tyrant of it all. I just didn’t like the fantasy and play style. Felt less like a warlock to me but that is why I don’t like it.
At least now we have more demons being summoned than just felguard and imps. Now we got felhounds, tyrants and others with talents. It feels more like a demonologist instead of a Demon Hunter/caster.
I have zero problems if demon hunters had a third spec that did the demo spec of warlocks though. I just didn’t think it fit with the warlock fantasy is all.

Very true, this topic has been beaten over and over again. Time to ignore every post that just says “wish we had meta back”.
What I really want back is burning embers for destro lock. That is what I want back, seeing the fire around you was fun.

But alas, you’re one of the types that will never be happy until you get meta back and that isn’t happening. So keep complaining.
There honestly should be a balance of both. But seems very unlikely.
It’s a topic that’s already beaten to death. Much so, that you do see that dead horse in the Shadowlands and make it fly.
