My Beta and Stress Test option is gone?

Yup, gone for me.

This probably means that even if we get in again, all characters are wiped.

I doubt it. I can still log in and see the offline server with my characters on it. It’s more than likely some bug that’s it not showing up for you.

I dont mind starting again. I am just in withdrawals already

If you click on your account on this website, hit Account Settings and look at Games and Subscriptions, is a Classic ptr still listed there? Because it’s gone for me. Which tells me it’s not some bug that it doesn’t show up on the launcher. My account doesn’t have it anymore.

It’s gone for me in the account as well for reference. I only have the regular PTR now listed, when it used to be both.

It’s there, but listed as World of Warcraft®: Legion (WoW4), which leads me to believe it’s a bug certain people aren’t seeing it with the way Blizz wired the stress test.

It originally didn’t show up for me on the very first stress test because I already had two “Legion” beta accounts. I opened a ticket, Blizz cleared one out, and I could see it.

I’d open a ticket.

I think the only ones who still have it showing are those who requested it be added back originally(can someone confirm that theory?). I’m not sure if people should keep reaching out to GMs to get it fixed, as it’s probably intended to be removed.

So you only have 1 ptr account now? I still have my Legion ptr, which is WoW3. Oddly enough it was WoW4 when I had the Stress Test ptr…which was listed as WoW6.

I have: Legion: WOW 1 (PTR 8.2) and Legion: WOW 4 (Stress Test).

I’m starting to think maybe there’s a bug going on. It would be strange for some people to lose access and others maintain it.

Someone theorized that people who originally had issues and asked for a ptr account to be removed in order to gain access still have that access. I’m reading around (including the eu forums) and the people who still have the stress test on their launcher all had asked to have a ptr account removed before the first stress test.

So I don’t know if it’s so much a bug that it was removed from ours, or that it’s a bug it wasn’t removed from people who went through that process to remove one earlier.

I think it was supposed to be wiped, but those who got hit by the 2nd invite wave for those who had the PTR account bug aren’t getting wiped.

I guess gratz to those people on slipping through the cracks.

I would lean on the side that it’s a bug for people who were removed… or at the very least you’ll be re-invited if it wasn’t a bug. Blizz wants more people to join in as the stress test goes on, not less.

I got booted D:

There was a small update on my launcher which I assume wiped my stress test.

I love all the posts on the beta forums about how the PvE sever hardly has anyone on line " all the people we need" ~ blizzard

As we know from stress test, the core game itself is 99% playable right now. Stress test is giving them far more valuable information than beta, which is really just for hype.

The invites were only for the first round of stress testing. We just got lucky and they had a quick second test a week later and let all thsoe invited have a go because of how few got a chance to get in the first one.

They said that about two weeks ago. And, surprise, interest in the test has for sure waned since then. Fewer people are streaming it, more people are capped out, more people are BIS, we seem to have found the limits for what even a modern-skill twinked group can clear.

Most folks seem to at this point be leveling alts or resorting to… “exploration” to keep playing.

Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if we see the level cap bumped up here in the next week or two, probably alongside a new wave of invites.

I also don’t have access to the stress test any more on my launcher, did I get kicked out or something ?
