My aspect of the cheeta will cost you 1 gold

I sell healthstones for 15s, soulstones for 1g, and summons for 1g.

I really cant see the beneficial trade off being a selfish jerk for a few pieces of bread, iron ore, and maybe a green.

Finder’s fee. That item dropped because I was here. Remember seeding? So yeah. If you want that item, you’re gonna have to pony up. C’mon. Crack open that wallet.

When warriors and rogues want my WF totem, it’ll be 10s each time I drop it

Imagine being a Hunter and thinking he’s in any position whatsoever to charge anything at all.

Lol? In a pug raid? Of course there would be reserves. The guild hosting typically reserves crafting materials and legendary drops. I’ve seen quest drops reserved too like Eye of Divinity and Leaf, but typically nothing else.

Are you really upset that you don’t get a crack at a fresh new Thunderfury for your melee spec?

I think you are all missing the point, I believe him to be complaining and saying it’s silly to charge a group for every little thing, with that in mind, what silly thing might you ask to be compensated for.

If mages are charging for water, if tanks are charging to tank, you can 100% bet I’m taking every chest for myself

people group with hunters?

I don’t believe it.

Groups without healers or tanks are dysfunctional; they do not work. Healers without dps are slower, but they still work. Stay salty. You sperg tier dps have made running dungeons horrendous for tanks and healers alike and now they’re incredibly selective about when they’ll group to the extent that you’ll have to pay them if you want them to play with you. The dps is the problem.

10/10 best comment here.

I guess I don’t see many locks since I am the lock, but I never charged for a soulstone before, I may forget to reapply it sometimes… but never charged for it, or for cookies either.

If we put in the mildly inconvenient time, we will reap the mildly convenient rewards.

Charging 1g to turn it off, only works if everyone pays.

I will charge everyone for blessings.

I’m gonna go to 40 mans and get rich!

For levels 1-75 or so, not really.

Thereafter it gets worse and worse. It’s one of the few professions that has no additional compensation for time spent leveling.

In your example, you’ll be there around 20 or so minutes doing nothing else but clicking when available, and get no value outside of skill.

At higher levels, you’ll need to find specific doors/locations to level it.

I’ve spent around 6-8 hours or so to level mine high enough to open anything. This is time you most likely won’t receive much compensation outside of areas you level it off of lock boxes, which net me around 6g.

It isn’t ridiculously long per say, but I could generate a lot more value in the same time doing literally anything else in game.

The prospective long term value is good, when you actually win a roll on a locked chest and get something decent for all your time spent. This has happened to me twice so far, and I’ve gotten around 5g from the chests total. Or being able to open specific doors in instances, which improves time spent in the instance but doesn’t necessarily provide immediate value.

All in all, its good to level but far from necessary and the least value to time spent skill in the game to level.

I’d pay for you not to use it TBH.

But mah dude, there’s a .001% chance there is a Krol Blade or Orb of Deception in there

In which case his toon name will soon become known throughout the realm and he’ll be lucky if he ever SEES another dungeon or raid. I’m a hunter, have been since I started playing, and will side with the kickers when there’s good cause. That’s presuming OP is really talking about Aspect of the Pack, since Cheetah only affects the hunter, no one else.

You are doing it wrong. That’s not how you make money akin to tanks charging for tanking.

Hunters solo DM Tribute, and sell the loot from the chest. People don’t have to be in the party or dungeon when chest spawns to loot it. Just get a list of what items people want, farm it and when it drops bring them to the chest.
