I want to play High Elves.
If High Elves are added I’ll get to play High Elves.
Presuming that WoW produces further opportunities to create happiness with expansions, content updates, etc. I will enjoy them more on a character that I want to play the most.

For the Anti’s:
High Elves being announced will probably be pretty upsetting depending on the amount of effort you’ve invested in arguing against them.
They will be added.
You may dislike their being around but the odds of this creating unhappiness seems pathological.

People return to a baseline of happiness after becoming paraplegic or tetraplegic.
I don’t believe you’re going to experience any long term negative consequences from people being able to play their favored race.

anyone who wants playable alliance high elves has to start from a position where they make the intellectual choice to deny that the blood elves ARE the high elves of the warcraft universe
either we accept what blizzard says, high elves are already playable and that there will be damage to the faction identities, or we accept the viewpoints of fans with an agenda who will suffer anything to get playable alliance high elves. ofc, people should listen to the former
