I will say, the Horde definitely doesn’t feel unified. The only clear consensus I’ve seen is that most people generally are glad that Sylvanas is gone because it’s been so heavily telegraphed as objectively correct, but for vastly different reasons.

I just wish everybody would remember that Ion, Danuser and Kotick are the actual final bosses of this expansion.

Point being: “why do you want it?” is a non-question.
Why do I want a better story? Because I want a better story.
Why do I want a choice? Because if it’s an option, I deserve to have that choice.
However you felt the Loyalist questline panned or didn’t pan out, it was effort that Blizzard took to make the Horde happy and effort they chose to withhold from the Alliance.
What makes the Horde worthy of that and the Alliance unworthy? I thought we all needed equal treatment.

I am amazed that “Both factions should get better writing and the Alliance needs more emphasis than it’s gotten” is so controversial. It benefits literally everybody.
(I think it’s because a lot of Horde players are very reluctant to admit that they get more attention and time. Not necessarily better, but more.)

Sure. We do and I want less. I’m concerned about my favorite race, the Forsaken. We were at the forefront of the Horde for all of two expansions and got screwed out of it.
“Only I can kill you, Varian Wrynn! But it’s not like I like you or anything, b-baka…”
Then come together and insist that the Horde be put in the backseat with the rest of us.
The path to a better Horde story is a better Alliance story.
Neither faction should be in the back seat.
So how do you propose they make it up to the Alliance going forward?
I don’t think you’re ever going to convince anyone that Alliance needs to be in “front” Enekie. They might agree that there needs to be equal treatment, but they’re never going to agree that multi-expansion focus on the Horde needs making up for.
