seems like the best move is to just merge nightfall and mutanus into barman or jom whichever has the lower pop of the two. With how little these two servers have i doubt itd make a huge impact for their current players but a huge impacts for us to be able to participate in content

Hi there. I dont just think Mutanus is dead. I think the whole SOM project seems to be dead, or at the very least, done poorly by Blizzard. You can read my other threads on why I think the SOM Project does not make much sense for an MMORPG game.
The time and effort commitment for MMORPG games is too significant to warrant repetitive resetting of game servers unless there is a choice to progress the toons (which is lacking for SOM toons)

ya’ll are whack if you think blizzard is going to open transfers to Jom
if anything they will have free transfers from Jom to the dead servers, this is what they always do
Youre probably right but itd be nice if blizzard did something that made more sense like combine 3 low pop servers to create a medium/high pop instead of forcing a High pop to disperse between 3 low pops thus not solving anything
Hopefully they speak up sooner then later
