Multiple groups abandoned due to no tanks. LFG is not working

The social system does work, i have been able to do every heroic dungeon every day since day 3 of the release. I have had a bunch of tanks add me and if thry logged on when i was logged on, they’d message me if i wanted to do some heroics. You are just having bad luck or are on a bad server.

I know you’re lying because as a tank I’m in a constant state of needing a healer.

And so are 90% of the groups in the LFG tool.

This is an odd complaint, coming from a warrior.

If OP is on a bad server, what do you suggest he do?

Pay $25 to join the next largest unlocked server so he can make groups more easily?

To everybody saying “I don’t have a problem finding groups so OP is lying”

What server are you on? Do you think playing on a server with 20k+ players is a different LFG experience than playing on one with 1k?

Careful, you’re using too much logic.

Now Blizzard stop being stubborn and give us RDF.

And we aren’t even 2 weeks in yet, raids are just releasing, people are spamming dungeons to level and finish their pre raid BiS.

Yes it is relatively easy to find groups right now on high pop servers, that’s gonna end real quick.

Did you ever hit the refresh button manually?

Right now group finder only dynamically updates the list it retrieved on the initial search (existing listings/groups). Hitting refresh tells it to re-query to pull all current listings.

It’s not optimal, but I assume they consider it better than having the list jump around on you while you’re trying to click on someone to message/invite.

Really interested to see how this debate looks in one month when most of the hardcore players have little to no need to run heroics anymore.

On the low pop servers or low faction servers, it’s already difficult to find a group, I imagine even some of the higher pop servers will have problems in a month.

Although some of the mega servers with 20k+ people on them will never have a problem filling a group, even later in the xpac, and they think that’s the same experience every other player has too and can’t comprehend having problems filling a group.

540 is def cap for raid bosses not heroics fyi

If I have to guess that by time a month passes most people who have essentially been gatekept out of the content will have already quit. Blizzard will have essentially forced people a phase behind because of their being stubborn. And that gap will widen as each phase happens without RDF. Wrath is essentially dead for the majority of players already and once they run out of things like reps or crafting to work on they will leave.

:rage: : OMG! Make your own groups!
 : Hold on…you did? No tanks out there??
:rage: : OMG! Join a guild!
 : Hold on… you did? Still no tanks?
:rage: : OMG! Make some friends!
 : Hold on… You have friends? They ran it already?

And those are just some of the joys of making your own groups.

this is the problem with the community. it used to be about lifting up your faction players and giving them a hand. now its about making gold. faction loyalty is gone, toxic players have become the norm, gdkp is a virus poisoning the game.

already been losing players back to private servers.

As a healer with multiple tank friends I find this to be 100% the opposite on Eranikus Alliance. There’s tons of groups looking for DPS and we have to fight for them. Unless you’re ret or a DK. Then you’re a dime a dozen.

So not only should Blizz put RDF in they should buy out the botting tech so they can spawn tanks for the poor DPS. Right?

If you’re struggling to find DPS then Wraths already in a worse place than expected.

Ok, but i would much rather herb while in a queue than sit there spamming LF1M tank

There’s plenty of DPS, they’re just all playing FOTM.

I’ve ran over 70 heroics in the past week and I can’t count the hunters and warlocks on 2 hands.

Tank checking in, I wont do one dungeon until RDF is added. Not a single one.
