Yes it would and does, this is a poorly thought-out excuse, the standard queue in LFD is 15-20 minutes for dps and 0-5 mins for healers/tanks.
But the point he, he WOULD have got one not waited 30plus minutes several times and not gotten a run.
Not sure what server you on, but mine is completely balanced and sometimes find ourselves waiting for DPS. Seems pretty even on my server and very active so perhaps transfer
I’m playing on Skyfury fresh and have created and filled all my heroic groups in less than 2 minutes each time. Our server is absolutely thriving. Check out our server if they ever unlock it. I hope your server picks up steam or you’re able to find a guild. Good luck out there friend!

This isn’t even remotely the same argument. Tanking is a part of the game. It’s not the entire game. Don’t be dense.
One, I never said this. Two, other people find if fun to tank and be in control of the group. For others, it’s not their favorite, but they don’t mind it. For me, I don’t like it. I never feel good after I do it.
There’s no fix. I think we all know that. But there was a tool that made things better before they removed it trying to cater to some Vanilla purist who not only already had their game, but STILL have their game because the servers are still up.
Pure strawman. But I think I’ll keep advocating for making the game better.

I dunno, my anecdotal evidence doesn’t match yours.
I’m dps and my queues are typically less than 3 minutes. Not on a mega server either.
2.5 hours like that last night arguing with another anti LFD during that time.
I mean I had the time there was no groups lol

Cool! I will too. That’s why they should keep it how it is instead of ruining it again. They’re listening too! They aren’t adding RDF and have stated such multiple times.

Yeah, that sucks. Couple of things would make it more relevant, though:
Assuming alliance faction
What realm?
What region?
What time of day (server’s time)?
What dungeons?*
Did you press the refresh button after initial listing?*
depending on server pop I can believe this but my own experience has been the exact opposite. I took a recent screenshot of 10 groups all with tank and 3 dps and no healer. This is on pagle with is a high pop server. People are offering 100g to healers to sign up with them. This is just how it goes and it will only get worse when raids start and people no longer need heroics.

All the 50’s currents the 4 that give decent xp, not that the others were any different.
But having said all that my level should matter, why should low levels or even people on lower realms just be expected to accept a sub stand gaming experience or cough up money to transfer? it’s not a fix.
Oh I got to 50 on it questing after that for an hour so I could go to bed lol

Also you should do LFD instead of LFG.

Well they absolutely exist, its just once you do your world tour you cant do any more dungeons even if you wanted to because your items didnt drop, RDF allows this just randomly so you could get the dungeon or you could get one that you dont need.
It doesnt matter now, and just vote kick those people. The only real issue comes in with a pre-formed group filling 1 spot where the toxicity is so its usually a server group effort.

Unacceptable suggestion. If you dont want to use the RDF tool or you want to queue up with your guild, you can do that as well.

That’s fine. We can agree to disagree. But, even if you think that, you have to admit that whatever happened to the game happened more than a decade ago. You really think that can be fixed by simply removing a system? The players make this game what it is, not any grouping tool. If it’s really as bad as you say, add it in. If people don’t use it, that means they agree with you.
If it could feel like Wrath, with all the talents and abilities working just like they do here, then you’d have a point. Since that’s not the case your “point” is moot.
Lol! They’ve already amended that to “at this time”. All we have to do is keep the pressure on. Heck, they said they wouldn’t even do Classic servers. They also said no changes. They say a lot of stuff. But hey, maybe Dragonflight will really be a return to Cata or MoP style game play. If that happens, you might just get your wish and see most of the QoL people go there.
Edit: you guys have turned into the “wall of no” people. It’s kind of sad.

The answer was to not nerf the boxes tanks got, but tell that to everyone who cried like a child on these here forums.
Reputation hasnt mattered for over a decade, lets be serious. Nobody cares about their reputation, stop using this as ammo.

My point is mute? The game you want doesn’t exist. End of story. Why are you here? You want “your version” of wrath. They aren’t releasing it. But, the feature that is so important to you already exists.
I think the main artifact of your statements is that the game you want simply doesn’t exist. There’s no other point to be made.

They’re a business. Their language is crafted intentionally to not be absolute. But, they made their choice after months of conflict about this topic. They’ve repeated their resolution multiple times. They haven’t even hinted its on the table once they released their final statement on the topic Aug 8.
This is where we can align. A group of you absolutely can’t stand those of us who like the game and don’t want it to change. Conversely, I actually genuinely would be happy if Dragonflight fills this void for this crowd and they get what they want in a game built for them.
