Multiboxxers are ruining the game for everyone else screenshots included

Are we banning everyone that causes any amount of frustration to anyone now? If I get frustrated because I died in a BG should the person or people that frustrated me be banned from the game? You sound pretty salty because someone’s better than you, bro.

hmm the poster is a nightborne but it sounds like a panda

is that Ralph using an alt to fly under the radar by any chance?

Who said anything about banning…?

Nobody said anything about banning. Fixing an glaring issue doesn’t mean you have to ban people.

It’s has nothing to do about being better and more about abusing in-game mechanics.

Blizzard implemented multiple node farming to alleviate frustrations of, I guess as you put it “someone being better than you, bro” that’s factually correct, no? They wanted more than one person to be able to get an herb.

Multiboxxers creating 6+ accounts and circumventing that solution and causing it to remain an issue is wrong and I’m 100% certain once Blizzard realizes how big of an issue is they’ll do something to fix it. No, they’re not going to ban multiboxxers and I’m not asking for that… but a solution must be made to this issue. Players shouldn’t be unallowed to play the game because a handful of players want to disrupt it for them.

You don’t have to agree with me, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a problem.

Just because you say it’s a problem, doesn’t mean it is one.

Just how you thinking something doesn’t mean that it’s a legitimate problem. Just admit that you are the problem, not the multiboxers, because you’re not competitive enough to beat them. Gathering has always been a competitive market. Either get good or lose to better players.

I haven’t been max level farming much, I mostly have enough gatherers to support my professions, but I’ve been doing a lot of lower level farming in developing an engineer/JC. Typically when there aren’t many nodes I’ll see a lot of farmers about. That’s changed since I started farming Twilight Highlands, now when I have no nodes (I might only get 1-2 nodes per circle) I don’t see anyone farming but when I get a decent number of nodes I’ll see other farmers. Maybe something to do with increased regeneration of nodes when more players are present?

Anyone remember when the bots would steal nodes from underground? You’d see their nameplates and the node disappear.

I hate CRZ, reason I chose an unprogressed server is to avoid what CRZ brought to my realm. All the disadvantages of a small realm none of the advantages of a big one. I’ve done a lot of farming in my time, that’s the biggest negative impact to my gameplay. I’ve probably seen only a couple of MB farmers in my entire history but, again, unprogressed server. I’ve seen plenty of bots, not “hey are you there” but actual repeatable patterns.

because there isn’t a multiboxer problem outside of Nazjatar. It’s the only zone they frequent. I barely ever see them outside of that one zone.

Is this a recent issue? I’ve done the 2 essences from Naz plus some grinding on 13 characters and have never seen one though I’ve done very little devoted farming there (I’ll usually just pick up nodes between quests, I have 3 herbalists and 4 miners). Maybe I’m just not hitting the path?

I’m pretty sure I ran the wow-professions route a couple of times (not many at all), just to get the node map going.

I’ve been leveling a character through BGs (level 78, my engineer-JC) and haven’t seen that but I have seen them in BGs just not since they removed /follow in BGs.

I remember fighting a huge bot once, it was AB (15 man) and there were only 2 non-bot players. People with CC hit one side, dps hit the other, we had 3 healers and got them to the point they couldn’t kill their target. Was a pretty easy victory, actually, maybe 5 would be more effective.

I’d be really curious to see some 3-4 man healer MB team solo queuing temple or mines.

EXACTLY!
And Ill accuse you of harassment if you respond to me more than once

FARMERS all do the same to me. MBing isnt the problem. Shared resources in an MMO is.

doubtful itll get through to the OP but heres the Official statement in Blizzards own words regarding multi boxing which includes a link to online info on how to do it more efficiently

Multiboxing, or playing multiple World of Warcraft accounts at once, is not a violation of our Terms of Use. We do not actively support multiboxing tools. For questions about setting up or running multiboxing, you will need to refer to third-party sites such as WoW Wiki

I don’t agree with multi boxing, but blizzard allows it, so until they say otherwise it’s a part of the game.

They don’t ruin the game for me - they actually help it a TON.

I hope they never remove the ability for people to multi-box.

This is not just a retail problem, this is a wow problem in general and it seems blizzard is more comfortable taking the money and running with it.

Imagine being a multiboxxer. Omega lol.

Even worse they plague both versions of the game and blizzard doesn’t give a crap.

there is no reason for bliz to give a crap. They farm ONE node at a time. just like any other farmer.
Believe it or not there are MORE than ONE node in any given zone.
