Another day, Another Mulitboxing thread.
BFA is what, 40 dollars? Plus the battle chest? 60 x 8 = 480 plus 30x4 = 120 = 600 dollars.
600 dollars to start plus 120 dollars per month.
120k gold times 36 tokens is 4,320,000.
It would cost almost a long boi to start making gold that way.
Now let’s remember that time is money. I’m going to say the average layman’s time is worth $15 an hour. That’s the minimum wage where I am.
Let’s say you farm herbs at 10k/hour. Your time is worth 15 dollars an hour and you need 5 tokens (75 dollars) to double your earnings.
5x120 = 600,000g / 10,000 gph = 60 hours = 900 dollars.
Third account would be 600,000 / 20k = 30 hours = 450 dollars.
Fourth would be 600k / 30k = 20 hours = 300 dollars.
Fifth = 600k/40k = 15h = 225 dollars
Sixth = 600k/50k = 12h = 180 dollars
Seventh = 600k/60k = 10h = 150 dollars
Eighth = 600k/70k = 8.57h = 128.6 dollars.
That’s 2333.6 dollars of time = money wasted.
If you were to spend that time working a $15 an hour job you could put all of that money towards wow tokens.
((2333.6/20) x 120,000)/5,000,000 =~2.8
You could purchase 2.8 long bois for the same effort.
All of this is absolutely absurd.
so like I said…this isnt about YOUR game being affected so much but is about you worrying yourself about what someone else gets.
thats fairly self interested.
Are you also upset about the guy who can play 80 hours a week getting more stuff than the guy who can only play 5 hours?
YOU get your share of the game for $15.
If I pay $60 a month I should get my shares that I pay for.
Its pretty simple math.
The problem is Cross Realm Zones, not multiboxers, but some people are too derpy to see that.
“Duurrrrrr tiny little zone… people from 50 different realms in one tiny little zone… no other place to get Zin’anthid… IT’S THE MULTIBOXERS FAULT!”
I dont fully understand it.
Is this what causes me to see players who arent on my group of servers out there farming some days?
Yep and all those people gathering Zin’anthid are going to put it on their realm’s AH, not yours, but some how that’s multiboxer’s fault.
ohhhhhh. I think this makes a little more sense now.
They were coming to my server when it was dead and very easy to farm mats.
I wondered what was going on.
I kinda jumped on the one guy because I thought he cheated his way over to my server.
Most players don’t care one way or the other. Even if you look at just the people on the forums, most don’t care.
Multiboxers make up such a small percentage of the player base and affect the economy in such a minuscule way that it isn’t even noticeable. If you didn’t have multiboxers, you would just complain about how few spawns there are of whatever node you are farming, whether that be zin, or whatever…
If there is someone farming any node in your zone, the nodes they tap disappear anyways after a minute or two.
Whether or not your realm is dead does not matter anymore because in the open world you will see people from 50 different realms…
… unless you’re on an RP realm. I only see people from other RP realms, which is the reason I moved here back in MoP.
One tiny little zone, that’s now outdated, that doesn’t help either. Fewer people in the zone means fewer shards being created for the zone. That means you run into a higher percentage of people farming Zin’anthid than you would have when it was still new.
But yeah, it is amusing seeing people get worked up over a poorly designed crafting material and then yell at multiboxers instead of Blizzard.
Hmmm Automated third party programs? Kinda sounds like a type of botting, HMmmmm…
Hmmmm. Looks a little bit like trolling.
Multiboxing isnt agains blizzard ToS!..really simple if you think that multiboxing give you an advantage nobody is stopping from doing it, else dont complain.
All of the crying about Multi boxers is largely due to a simple misconception. People seem to believe that each node contains the ability to yield 10 taps, and that Multi boxers eat up all those taps. And while that is partially true, they don’t seem to understand that the node will disappear 30 seconds after the first tap, regardless of how many times it was tapped in that 30 seconds.
Which means, the above poster was correct, it does only take 2 people with good routes flying in opposite directions to deplete a whole zone.
It’s called /follow.
Not a third party program. Has been in the game for over a decade. Hmmm.
Do you even play this game?
He/she didn’t say automated and there’s nothing automated about the popular multiboxing program (ISB.)
Btw, “third party program” is an extremely broad term. Windows is a third party program in relation to WoW.
Allow me to explain how that’s done
/follow
I don’t pvp, so if you attack my team I’m likely going to just ignore you and try to finish what I’m doing or spam sit to get crit so I can die and you go away. He had to wait till combat ended because you can’t /follow a character in warmode combat.
Then you would be the only multi boxer in the world to do that. Every other one would spam moon fire (they are always druids) and feel great about themselves.
hmmmmm except BOTTING is where there ISNT a PLAYER controlling it…
Try harder next time
