Did I even mention multiboxing? I simply destroyed your generic argument where you claimed:
And yes. You are wrong on more counts than you know.
I could care less about whether you like multiboxing or not. But choosing multiboxing to try and prove that Blizzard has the “better knowledge” in every other areas is horribly ignorant.
No, you really didn’t. If people were going to leave this game over multi-boxing then they would have already done so, like almost 16 years ago. There will never be enough people leave this game to make an impact on Blizzard. You’re crazy if you think enough people even care about multi-boxing to leave over it. lol
how did I not see this thread the first time round. this explains so much about you.
no. that statement is flatout wrong. it doesn’t help the economy, it artificially lowers prices and makes gathering professions economically unviable as they can’t compete with cheaper competition. gathering professions are the cornerstone of the wow economy. it’s how most players generally make their first few gold and they are the easiest professions to get into and see immediate return.
with multi boxers flooding the market with ‘cheap’ goods, it makes those professions less profitable for the largest part of the player base that need those professions to make gold. this isn’t a situation where cheap labor is even needed. people LIKE farming herbs and ore. so players like you not only rob them of that income, but you destabilize the economy from the ground up.
in the end, this mostly hurts the low and middle ‘income’ gathers in wow.
I view it as if you pay the sub and are not purposely trying to crash a server, there should be no anger. What it boils down to is people gettin mad that some people can afford multiple accounts to farm gold. Jealousy, greed selfishness, any of that stuff. Heck I even run dungeons with a multiboxer sometimes, the non troll ones are hurting nothing. Except maybe if you’re on a high pop server, but those subs count just like any other.
FACT …blues have DEFENDED boxing…you can see the links I already posted above.
FACT …the launcher is DESIGNED to allow boxing…you can see that for yourself.
Your so-called “hope” is misplaced and you’re really naive if you think blizzard won’t notice if people unsub for multiboxing. I don’t really mind whether multiboxers exist or not but at the end of the day, chronological events state something very simple:
A company will bend to the majority because your 15 dollars(x Accounts) is in fact nothing in front of the millions they bring.
Sounds like you think I’m claiming I’m gonna unsub for something I mentioned in this thread. So…do us all a favour and show me that thing which you want me to unsub for?
A leveling service only violates the ToS if it involves them playing your character or a real world money transaction. If you just pay gold for someone to carry you through dungeons, then Blizzard won’t care.
Now do you have any proof of them letting people use the services that do violte the ToS without any repercussions? And not just because they didn’t get caught. Do you have any posts by Blizzard saying that all leveling services are perfectly allowed?
I’ll say it again: I’m merely stopping you from using this as an argument to say that Blizzard is right merely because of multiboxing in every area of WoW.
Something you are dodging because you have nothing to show.
I’m not overly concerned about players who want to overcharge and price gouge, to be honest I’m not concerned in the least about them. Bringing prices down does, in fact, help more players than it hurts.
this is how a real life economy works. When i list stuff, I want rid of it. Am I a multiboxer, no, but I’m doin the same thing they are. Farm a ton of stuff and unload it as cheap as possible. Economies don’t revolve around making things fair for everyone, they’re cutthroat. Why would WOWs economy be any different? Whether it’s one guy with 25 toons or one guy alone, most of us are responsible for prices lowering like this. It’s how WOW works, never at the end of an xpac is stuff worth very much.
