Multiboxing = Cheating

It only takes a potato so I am sure they do.

It isn’t pay to win. Let me know what you have won recently.

I dunno! I’d guess yes! The means to run 60 clients? I’d guess no :frowning: but I’d bet most players can dualbox and there’s nothing to stop them from checking to see if they can by just making a starter account and logging in with it alongside their main account :+1:

How many?

What you may not know is, some people who are determined to multibox do so at incredibly reduced resolutions, like 800x600 so they can 10 or 15 box. When I box 5 accounts the main window runs at 30fps and the other clients run at 20fps cap :man_shrugging: So to say that someone CANNOT multibox would be surprising.

I have a potato and I can attest it’s pretty trivial to run a trial account to party sync by yourself (Chromie Time is thankfully going to serve this function come Tuesday)

This is what it always boils down to. Jealousy.

This whole game is pay to win then. What about those people who can’t afford a computer to even play? What about the people who can’t afford to buy the newest expansion?

Get real man. That’s not pay to win.

Oh, but it is.

A single player, running 10 accounts, getting 10x the gold, honor and loot.

Pay to win at its finest.

Wonder how long it takes A MB to get those high end items sitting farming with 20 characters linked up.

Before I started multiboxing I had capped my main account. I had 1 80 (Herald of the Titans toon) and 49 120s, so I got 49x the gold :man_shrugging:

Your alts are pay to win! You paid a sub fee right?

It’s not unfair. Every one that plays World of Warcraft is allowed to multi-box.

It would be unfair if one person was allowed to do it and another person was not allowed to do it.

It may be a playstyle you dislike, but it isn’t unfair, not even in the slightest.

I would be surprised if that was a multiboxxer. Looked like another botter since some of his characters were moving and some weren’t. Though it is possible he had the movement keys bound to different key so he could run forward on one group and stay still on another :man_shrugging:

In any case we reported him and sent the vid to Blizz they can figure it out.

I fixed that for you

it is unfair, money is the bottleneck here, not everyone has the money to shell sub on 5 accounts. Personally I don’t care I just play the game, but saying its not unfair is blindly ignoring the issue.

wow has always been about the more time you put it technically the more you get from the game. MB allows you to multiply that by 5 depending on what you are doing with your MB

Ban multiboxer scrum

Unfair advantage = cheating aye?

Ok, so if you have better gear than me in a BG / PvP, that is an unfair advantage. Cheater!

If you queue for a bg and see that it is 10 v 15, yet you don’t immediately quit because you are on the 15 side… that is an unfair advantage. Ban everyone who does this!

If you group up with people with coordinated voice comms and a balanced group makeup, that is unfair to someone who is pugging. Delete all their gear and make them raid Hogger for the rest of their days!

If you are a rogue and decide to gank someone who is out mining, or is low on HP because they just fought off your buddies, that is unfair. Now this one, honestly should get you banned not only from WoW, but also put in prison because you are a bad person.
