Mtn Dew Hateforged Blazecycle SOLD OUT

I got the points and tried to redeem the cycle on thursday and the redeem page simply didn’t work. Saw that it was sold out and like WTF? The website works seeing as how I got a pet. Really hoping that they fix this cause the promotion goes on for another whole month.

They could. They could not. It entirely depends. It’s a wait and see. Which is quite frustrating.

I’m sorry you couldn’t get on Thursday. :frowning:

I knew this will happen honestly but I think this is right way to keep the mount rare…
I regret I took a break due to Kalu’ak Whalebone Glider selling season as well…
that’s my biggest mistake! :slightly_frowning_face:

Obviously glue because I’m rubber and anything you say bounces off of me and sticks to you.

telling people to calm down is bliz shillin now?
no proof of anything that will occur? jsut like you? without understanding whats going on? i mean i understand doritos had codes printed outside usable without purchase. i understand putting a pause on items would allow them to figure something out since people are getting code not valid on their purchased codes. or to realize if an item that tech cant sell out doesnt get the same sold out indicator that pyhiscal items do coudl be oversight issue? cant give them time to issue new codes? again you then claimed its not possible for them to give out new codes. without taking time to realize mistakes happen all the time. breadisfunny straight up calling this intended and malicious and me saying how dumb that sounds is childish?

god, calm down!!!”

see this is more appropriate response. you could even caps lock the frustrating

I was told these were meaningless pixels and that they’d be used once and then never seen again.

well darn i used mine twice already idk what to do now…

This is literally normal. Blizzard gives them a certain amount of codes. When they sell out, they contact blizzard for more.

But it’s the weekend so it won’t be until Monday at the earliest.

This is how all b companies handle things like this. They aren’t going to give mountain dew the ability to generate codes by themselves.

and if this doesn’t age well then by all means blow stuff up.

maybe i just give blizz to much credit but i feel like this is an obvious oversight and they clearly must understand how many people they gonna peeve off if they don’t fix it. it jsut seems so obvious but i guess who knows with pepsi co involved.

I must say this has gotten me more amped up this morning then any mountain dew has ever gotten me. :stuck_out_tongue:

new formula they are trying out.

It’s kind of interesting this would happen considering some areas don’t rotate enough stock to have that packaging yet. I’ve only found some today through a friend, so it’s kind of sad. Especially considering plenty of people redeemed extras to sell for RTM.

Finally find an item with an appropriate code in my area for the first time today and the Hateforged Cycle is already sold out. Bad coordination here on Blizzard, Microsoft and Pepsi/Mtn Dew for failing to understand their fan bases. Marking this item as does not yet exist on my collection list until this is fixed.

A limited supply on a digital item shouldn’t be something players have to worry about. There’s still thousands of codes in stores around me that people won’t get to use on what they want. I gave one to my friend and sat on the points waiting for the Epic edition to be re-stocked, now I’m just screwed.

Yeah, man. I don’t know what to tell you. I’ve been checking the 4 local gas stations, the Dollar General, Vons, Raley’s, and the grocery outlet (run by Walmart). Zero luck with them until Dollar General got the Trolli promo. Still no Mountain Dew promo of any kind.

You got lucky, I guess.

More like room. Doubtful they’d prioritize the new stuff before the old stuff is sold.

This is obviously a massive fumble and will probably backfire.

I was just looking at it on ebay consumed with FOMO and realized … do I really care about this bike? will I actually use it? Maybe if I had a better mount collection but I missed so many other fomo offerings like this that it doesn’t really matter. Maybe if I wanted it to be my primary ground mount, but I don’t.

Ultimately I closed the eBay page, and didn’t buy any of the promo stuff. I do think if I had bought some of the promo stuff only because of this mount, I would be pissed.

However I don’t drink mountain dew, I don’t eat doritos (I would if they made a gluten free version though!) so all this event winds up being is a massive PR failure, from my personal prospective.

Yeah, I live in a small area, so no stores have it yet. I got a code from a friend in another state since I couldn’t find any in my area yet at all in any of the stores. Just don’t move enough stock.

I also genuinely don’t think a random promo item like this should be limited, considering those codes are supposed to be valid thru anniversary, so we’ll see if they ‘restock’ them.

I was being a bit disingenuous anyways lol. i shop at the store in the town 7 miles away 5 min drive. and its a smaller college town about 12k people. so not really as rural as some places near me.
