Couldn’t they just issue more codes for the life of the promotion? That seems like a simple solution.
I confess I am ignorant of such matters, so if I missed something, I apologize.

Read some of the other responses above.
no its all good promotions like this would be first come first serve
but if you want the bike we might get the green one down the line if its red color you are looking for we might see more code monday or not.
Wanting there to be more product available with the promotion being not even 2 weeks old yet is completely reasonable. What isn’t reasonable is jumping down other peoples’ throats accusing them of things they aren’t doing to begin with.
Sendryn talks about people being clueless… They meant to defend you and complain about me. You can’t even follow along at all.
They can. According to the Program Terms Out of Stock digital items can only be restocked if the Sponsor (aka Blizzard) wants to restock it.
They ran out of zeros and ones.
Which is what one person in here continues to do, while the rest of us are just wanting this promotion to be fun and make sense.
You just replied to me and you’re trying to claim I’m the one who can’t follow along at all?
Do I really need to go back and quote you insulting people, telling them to calm down and that this will all be good and fixed?
I’m not the one defending this promotion. You are.
Or should we bring up your hostility from another thread to show off your attitude problem?
Lol I just redeemed the last Blazecycle for one of my friends that asked for it yesterday afternoon. Seems I got in just in time.
Seriously though, imposing artificial scarcity on an unlimited digital good like this is hilariously tone-deaf, especially given how long the promotion was slated to run.
How hard is it to print the code inside the Doritos bag, or make digital items redeemable once per account, or just link the promotion directly to Battle.net?
The scalpers are winning. I hope Blizz gets all the eBay sellers’ e-mails and bans any associated WoW account for life. B.S.
Uh oh. You just busted out the receipts. Meltdown in 3…2…1…
soo how much are they on ebay btw? Anyone checked yet?? lol
The dude you claim was defending you not me genius… Also saying calm down they will fix the obvious issue isn’t defending blizzard just because you want to misread and misinform things upset. Also rich coming from you who generally is getting called a blizz shill. You really are just as low as the people you complain about.
Think someone earlier said they were like 60 or something on ebay. There’s a website selling them for 129 I saw when I was doing a google search.
its not unlimited mtndew need the codes from blizzard you can not just pull out items out of the air without putting codes to them.
now if this was on blizzard store page it would be unlimited
Yep. The only small glimmer of hope we have is that they might possibly get more codes if they feel like it.
I think someone said earlier that it was up to $125?
I’m still seeing a lot from $35-50. Still pretty high considering the real cost of Mountain Dew, but definitely not in the hundreds of dollars yet.
Those receipts must not show what you think mate.
Ah, that’s at least somewhat reasonable.
Those prices will probably go up a bit now that it is sold out, or at least that’s what I’m assuming will happen. Supply and demand and all that fun stuff. Will probably start seeing that once these auctions expire.
