MS > OS etiquette

No, you can’t. Especially with lunatics like yourself spreading this nonsense throughout the community. All we can control is our own actions. Justify it all you want to avoid your own inner accountability but just because others do it doesn’t mean you should join in

Dungeons aren’t MS > OS no matter how many times you post that they are.

They are just need > greed.

If someone needs an item and can equip it, it’s legit.

why does that suddenly change in your mind when transitioning from 5 mans to raids?

Raids aren’t MS > OS unless the rules are stated in advance.

Most raids are master looted though so when you agree to join a master loot raid you agree to master loot rules implicitly.

You joining the raid and it being master loot means the master looter can make any rules they want.

It’s not MS > OS unless they state it in game chat. Blizzard won’t do anything to help you unless they state it in game chat.

Unless loot rules are agreed upon prior to killing the npc that dropped said loot then there are no rules. Sure if a caster clothy rolls on anything not cloth and doesnt say ‘whoops’ they will be kicked etc…

Last night had paladin healing roll and win all tank and dps gear. Felt bad for the tank, but it was only Uldaman I was happy one hunter got their polearm. Other hunter didnt win but was a good sport.

Incorrect, all instances are need > greed unless they are master looter or loot rules have been stated IN CHAT ahead of time.

Sorry :person_shrugging:

Discord doesn’t count either so loot rules in discord are meaningless.

You’ve revealed yourself to be someone who only cares about raiding/endgame which is antithetical to the classic experience.

1-59 is most of the experience for casual players and a blue upgrade is equivalent to a level 60 getting an epic item. To scoff at this not being important just because you only care for endgame is revealing in your lack of empathy.

What happened to the community that everyone is justifying this cold behavior?

Sorry but all instances are need > greed lil bro.

if you wouldn’t treat people that way in real life, don’t do it in game. its so simple but anonymity has made people ok with acting greedily. You wouldn’t act this way in real life because there would be real consequences which you have no interest in facing.

Instances are need > greed

You can stop trying to say otherwise now.

ok sure. so define what need and greed mean

Greed means you want to sell it obviously.

Need means you can use it.

It’s pretty simple man.

so people wouldn’t boot a warrior from the group after having not mentioned any loot rules if they just started needing all cloth, leather, healing gear, caster weapons?

according to you and your definition the group would be fine with this

You must be new here.

Warriors are notorious for needing on everything just like hunters.

All groups are need > greed unless stated otherwise IN CHAT and AGREED TO by everyone IN CHAT.

Sorry :person_shrugging:

you are ignoring the human response in this, an MMO where people interact with each other…

Yeah, that is the part about the chat that I told you.

If you don’t want need > greed you have to get people to agree to it IN CHAT.

Otherwise Blizzard will not help you with any disputes.

You have a learning deficiency.

maybe people acting in this way is a side effect of megaservers where your reputation doesn’t matter like it once did. If you acted this way back in the day you would just become notorious on the server and people wouldn’t group with you.

Bro,

Unless people agree to loot rules, all groups are need > greed.

I don’t care if you like it. I don’t care how it makes you feel.

your whole argument exists in a bubble of semantics.

You don’t know what words mean based on how you use them.
