Main quest objective and sub-quests. World mobs and bosses to defeat with item / gear drops and upgrades along the way with experience points. One could make an RPG based on this movie. A great movie on its own with so much more. Too much WoW on the brain, but striking similarities for 1993.

I agree, it was a great movie. Excellent performance by Michael Douglas, great story, one of my faves from Joel Schumacher next to stuff like Lost Boys and The Client.
