Move Burrow to the Class Tree please!

Shamans have been begging for this for a long time now. This should have been moved to the class tree as a capstone as soon as we got Class Trees in Dragonflight.

Burrow is an extremely cool, thematic ability that only PvP shamans have access to. It would be great to see this in the class tree, especially with how often shamans are having survivability issues.

There really shouldn’t be anything stopping this from happening at this point. I get that we don’t want to add more buttons, but that button already exists for PvPers and with the removal of Stone Bulwark Totem, it could just replace that. It really is not an issue.

If Reincarnation is what is stopping the addition of Burrow in the class tree, please stop viewing reincarnation as a defensive. Again, there is no such thing as a defensive that requires you to die in order to get use out of it, and its a 30 minute cooldown on top of that. We are looking for things that help prevent us from dying often, Reincarnation is not that. If Reincarnation has to be removed in exchange for real defensives, I dont think any Shaman would oppose that. Or Reincarnation could just be reworked into an actual Cheat Death so it has real defensive value.

Reincarnation doesn’t reset on raid wipes like every other defensive in the game does. So not sure why they should be classifying it as a defensive. If it’s a defensive like they say, it should reset on wipes at the very least.

Regardless of reincarnation, I second moving burrow to the class tree, it’s way too good.

Yeah its wild that we still dont have it in the class tree. I dont get it. Its thematic, its an extremely fun defensive to use. Like bubble is pretty boring for example, but Burrow is sick. You move super fast, you RP as diglet, its really cool. That is absolutely something all Shamans should be able to grab.

The devs tell us they’re listening so much more now but idk. Shamans have been asking for burrow in PvE since it was released due to how cool it is. People (theorycrafters/community figures) gave direct feedback to the devs about it, still nothing. Years later we get class trees, perfect time to do it, still nothing.

I was really hoping this expansion they would completely rework the class tree and do things like that. Static Field as a capstone, Burrow as a capstone, new enhancement shaman honor talents, etc.

Static field as a pve talent would be a bit OP I think lol. Imagine. Your tank draws a huge bunch of problem mobs into your totem. You just move them somewhere … :joy:

Nah i dont think it would be too op. Worst case they could increase the CD in pve, as in it should prob be a 2 min or 1.5 min cd in pve and 1 min in pvp. Would only work on regular mobs not like mini bosses or anything. Would be fine imo, its essentially like warrior spear, ursols vortex etc except you get to move the mobs and it’d be a longer cd.

Its fairly limited as well, you can’t throw mobs that far. As in, Static can be thrown 40 yards but if you do that it wont move the targets. If you want your targets to move with static its limited to like 15-20 yards or less i think.
