Farming for mogs, mounts, and pets is one of most fun aspects of Retail… I’ll give it that.

I have multiple 110s and 120s sitting outside the different raids, preferably those with movement speed increases. They are my toon for that raid and that raid only. When I started I ran all raids on all toons and it almost drove me to insanity (pun intended), now all I do is the raid once on those toons and then all raids on my main.
So far no luck, latest I got was Astral Serpent around 3 months ago.
Blast some music and go ham. Takes me like 3 hours to do all the raids I need.
My main advice is never force yourself to do it when you aren’t in the mood–that’s the fastest way to burn out. Take breaks, put limits on how many attempts you’ll do in a day/week. The mounts aren’t going anywhere.
3 away from 500 here. This patch has been both a boon and a curse. So much camping.

I space it out and fill the times I do it with music. I park my hoard of alts outside my target instance/in front of my target boss, and zone in on that for a couple weeks. Then I switch it up.
I’ve currently got 13 characters parked in front of the Sha of Anger’s spawn. Two more weeks of that, then I’m going to go park all of them in front of Galleon until I feel like switching it up. It’s hurts my sanity less to try for everything in a given week, when I can space it out and aim for what I want most, first.
^ Best advice. I walked away from the 4 MoP bosses 700 tries in. I needed a break.

Im working towards 400 myself (12 away). I find changing things up a bit helps. Now since its Timewalking week I put Rustfeather/MoP bosses further down the priority list and mainly focusing on TWing.
lol…OMG…I just got the Lord of the reins ach recently…still hunting tho…some I fear i wont ever get…sooo close, but because of a single ach needing ‘x’ players to do…‘sigh’ lolol

A couple more things:
-I don’t farm all mounts all the time. I have several “categories” of mount farms (camp, raids, achievement, etc.) and I rotate which ones I’m working on based on how I’m feeling at the time.
-If you aren’t in the mood to farm the mounts directly, you can work on other things that will indirectly help with mount farming like leveling alts, making gold, etc.
-Secret finding discord has a very active mount collecting community that will celebrate and/or commiserate with you as you go. They’ll also help you with some world spawn rare mounts if you need them!

- Felblaze Infernal
- Ironhoof Destroyer
- Kor’kron Juggernaut
- Leyfeather Hippogryph
- Prestigious Royal Courser
- Ratstallion
- Siltwing Albatross
- Hivemind
- And the three new Alliance gryphons.
^ This would put me at 499.

My only suggestions is make sure how many mounts you have for the ACHIEVEMENT. I had maybe 52 mounts past 300 before it counted with all the Legion class hall mounts and such.
Also there are 3 frog mounts you can buy in Nazmir and 3 new mounts with the Horde reputation vendors since the 8.25 patch. Costs alot of gold though.

I was about to shift my focus to alts instead of farming…then Invincible dropped for me last weekend. Still might take a break from farming, but that kinda have me a boost to keep going for a while longer.
I’m about 22~ away from 300. Most of the ones I’m farming are world boss or raid drops.

Also always check your mount count on your paladin or warlock cuz they get the most with their class mounts.
Dont forget about Darkshore and Arathi Highlands rare bosses… Ooohh and SeaWorld and BorgLand rares! Check Wowhead to see which ones drop mounts. Ive gotten all the ones from Arathi except for the bat (damn that bat!). Darkshore hates me as does the two new zones.

Also, I see you dont have the Drake of the West Wind which is from Tol Barad tokens but do have the spectral Wolf from the same rep, are you working on that?
I’ve been fairly lucky I suppose. I have every drop mount up to Dragon Soul, and have gotten most of them within 15-25 runs. That being said, I’m about 200 runs deep over the last 4 years looking for Life Binders Handmaiden and Experiment 12-B. I’ve taken a break, and now am only running it about once or twice a week.
I was hoping I’d get into the groove of working on the Felsteel Annihilator but I got it after a mere 9 runs. I was almost offended. I figure I’ll start some MoP mounts next.
